The Old Daufuskie Crab Company features a delicious Gullah/Southern style Low Country Buffet on Tuesday-Friday from 11-2. Items commonly found on the buffet include Fried Chicken, Pulled Pork, and Pork Chops. If that doesn't suit you, grill options are available all day long. These items include Deviled Crab, Steamed or Fried Shrimp, Flounder, Grilled Chicken Sandwiches, better than average Burgers, and our renowned Chicken Quesadillas. Thick steaks are also available. All of these items can be yours at great prices! Please check our website for our full menu!

The Crab Company features indoor and outdoor bars that allow you to sit under the gazebo and enjoy the beautiful views over the marina while drinking our famous Scrap Iron sweet tea vodka and lemonade drink or other cold beverage of your liking! Starting April 1st, 2012 we will have live music on the weekends!

Daufuskie Crab Co. is a great place to spend and afternoon. This island vibe, live music and great bar style food along with a play set and tractor for the kids to climb on and hang out makes this a great hang out for all ages. You do have to plan your visit appropriately as this place can get VERY busy during the summer months, especially on a weekend. I recommend getting there by 10 or 11 by the latest which would allow you to order your food and drinks prior to the huge rush of people and boats that converge on this island. Docking your vessel can be a significant challenge during the crowded times as the dock space will fill up quickly and then boats end up tying up to the sides of boats that are tied to the dock. If you plan your visit appropriately this place is a great restaurant to hang out for a couple of hours. If you don't it can become a congested nightmare with lots of people and an overwhelmed staff!
Located right near the ferry, this is the perfect place to grab a bite before/after your trip to the island. The atmosphere is super laid back and food was simply outstanding and pleasantly unexpected as they punch well above their weight. Trust me you will not be disappointed. Must visit.
We came by boat. $10 dock fee. Docks rock a bit. Most seating is very casual & outdoors. Order food at bar, cook delivers it to table. Our Fish tacos and flounder sandwich was good. Looks like a nice hangout if you like a bar & music feel. Stage for live music. Small, colorful cabins for rent. A nice General store for conveniences. Some areas did not look the cleanest, example, Orange water refill jugs area where you get water out of, bathrooms could use freshness & care.
Beautiful place to enjoy some great food & drinks! The Scrap Iron is a must have & the tacos are delicious! We ate there three times during our week long stay.
You need a boat to get to Daufuskie Island. Any day spent on a boat is a good day! Spicy Shrimp and Peel 'n Eat Shrimp local shrimp that I had or tasted were excellent, and everything else got positive reviews. The lunch order for 6 people was processed smoothly and accurately. The bathrooms were pretty darned good for an informal seafood place on a secluded island.
Good food and very laid back. Beautiful sunsets. The kids had fun just running around. For a family of five, expect to spend $60-$75.
What an amazing sunset! The location is truly breathtaking and you couldn't ask for a more beautiful spot to have a drink and marvel at the scenery. The food is also really good. We had fish fingers, nachos, Caesar salad, lobster rolls and it is all really tasty. You have to try the famous "Scrap Iron" drink its like their version of a twisted tea. Just make sure you don't have any plans if you get a second one
Our family had such a great time here. A bit unorthodox but it worked great! Food was delicious! Staff was nice, atmosphere was fun, view was beautiful. Great experience. This is a must see while here! We will definitely be returning for more family vacations to this place. Only thing I would change would be more seafood options on the menu.
Very friendly staff. Curt was the best! He served our food with a big smile each time we saw him. Not sure of the name of the young girl that served our drinks or the gentleman that waited on us also but they were all the bomb. Listened to great bands and had delicious shrimp, oysters and fries to eat.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
The visitors on this hidden gem of an island are well taken care by the Daufuskie Crab company. The menu is limited but WONDERFUL!, and the service and kindness is on point making you feel such a part of this island! I did not take food pictures, but this is your view!Food: 4/5
