Pet friendly. Seasonal sites available. Water and electric hookups included with sites. Bathhouses are pretty clean and costs 25¢ for 2 minutes for showers. There is a small general store on the grounds for ice, firewood, groceries etc. Well kept beach and large campsites. They have multiple boat launches and areas to dock. Beaches are not pet friendly but there are access points to the water for your pups and poo bag stations throughout the grounds. I have Sprint/T-Mobile and had full bars with 5G the whole time but other carriers did not have service at all. Wifi is available for extra through their website.
The campground is pretty decent. It has a great view looking over the lake. There is a park as well as a small store. I personally think the tent sites are poorly positioned as they are close together and quite close to a busy main road. The tent sites are also pretty small so you don't have room to put your tent off of the main driveway, so all night vehicles are driving by to go to the main bathroom rather than using the outhouses. Bathrooms and shower house are fairly clean but not perfect so if you don't like bugs it is nature after all this won't be the best option for you. To utilize the showers you will need to purchase tokens at the main office.
Our new favorite camping spot. Or site was conveniently located right across the playground and the bathroom. With a path to the lake. We will be back next year for sure. So many kids activities on the weekend. Make sure to put away all the food. We had a racoon friend steal a bag of grapes. There is a camp store with icecream and essentials in case you forget anything. Showers take tokens. Also great fishing area.
The campground is very spacious with large lots. There is only one playground. There is a camp store but it was closed the entire time we camped. We stayed on site 106 and didn't have enough electricity to run our lights or cook with an electric griddle. I recommend you bring quarters if you want to take a shower in the shower house because they're not free.
Very nice campground. Beautiful scenery. Some of the campsites aren't nearly big enough to fit what size unit they state. Campers are all super friendly too. Been camping here for over 15 years.
Great place to camp! Family friendly! Fun things to do there. Playground, beach area, camp store with yummy ice cream, rentals, clean restrooms/showers. We had a great week stay! Friendly staff, guy who collects trash is super friendly and cool!
Very well maintained and managed campground. The campground was full but it wasn't loud or crazy. Great place for kids/family. One of the yurts and cabins are nice and secluded behind and up a big hill from the rv sites.
I really enjoyed staying here for a few days. They definitely have an old school method of reserving and checking in, etc....but that's not a bad thing. I was a little lost going into the campground, trying to find the reservable tent Aires, but I managed. Great tent sites, great views, quiet, everyone was nice, etc. No 4g cell service here with Verizon, and no mention of any wifi here, but it was nice to disconnect. Location was within 15 minutes of every fishing hole I wanted to go to.
This is a great campground. You may need to get there early in the day before noon to get a spot. We stayed on the point and the view was fantastic. With a new moon and no clouds the stars were incredible. Bathrooms were clean. The store lends out horseshoes, basketballs etc. Would definitely come back.
Large lots with most sites have electric and water. Nice lake with beach within walking or biking. Can rent pontoon boat at beach. 3 bathhouse but you have to buy tokens to use from front office. Nice size playground for kids. Stayed during the week so traffic was minimal.
