A quaint restaurant with a small town feel to it and the food is amazing. I have been there 3 times and ordered a Chicken Mesquite Sandwich, Gyro and Steak De Burgo. I have never had a steak so tender, best Gyro due to the quality of Lamb and Sauce, and the Chicken Mesquite was literally mouth watering. They have real home made soups for the sides and the try the Greek side salad, best side salad I've ever had. The fact that I am even getting excited about a side salad should tell you something. Check out their menu, I think its a pretty good variety. It is typically not real busy so you sit right down and the food comes out in good time. Prices are very reasonable. $8.95 for a sandwich and side and around $19.99 for the Steak De Burgo. Other dishes and prices are in between. If you are the type of person that doesn't need 3 waiters floating around you and you just want great food, reasonable pricing and a nice cup of wine, this is your place.
Delicious food with a Mediterranean flair. The only error was that I received Creamy Parmesan salad dressing when I asked for the traditional Greek. But the salad was so fresh and appealing that I didn't really care how it was dressed. Steak De Burgo with red roasted potatoes were perfection. And the Beef Stroganoff was rich and flavorful. These entrees are a 2/$20 special that you can order for either lunch or dinner. You are encouraged to share and extra plates are provided. The reportedly 80-year old owner/chef will stop at your table to make sure you're happy. Ignore the strip mall location and try it out. World class food at... Well, at strip mall prices.
Little confusing when you pull up, we were not sure if it was a restaurant or a greeting card store. Then saw a sign that said pasta. Middle of the week, had all three children who were hungry, thought we could find something everyone would like. We entered and ordered drinks, it was not busy and I will admit not so sure we should stay. Then I thought this might be one of those good ma and pa restaurants, so we stayed. When we went to order they were out of chicken, hamburger and two other items we tried to order. We settled on a pizza, fries and fettuccine alfredo with shrimp. The restaurant was cluttered with knick-knacks; large amounts of dried ketchup on the wall and foe fireplace, floor had food and trash, the place needed a good cleaning. Salad was salad, good dressing made by the restaurant. The garlic bread was very salty, I think soaked in butter and salt. So far so good. Then the main meals came. The fettuccine alfredo was awful. I am being kind. The dish came out, sauce was so watering I am still not sure there was alredo sauce. The noodles were mushy. There were clams and other seafood beside shrimp. Wish the waitress would have told me that you could not just request shrimp, may have just done the noodles and no seafood. When I took a bite all I could taste was oysters. I tried one more bite, but it was to over powering of an oyster taste. The waitress never asked how our food was and never inquired why I did not eat my dish. I think what happened was they cooked the noodles and seafood in the same water. The noodles were not drained and it diluted the sauce if there was sauce. For the pizza, the sauce tasted like canned spaghetti sauce and the cheese did not have a taste. BUT, the thin crust was good. The table behind us had a dish that the two chiefs lighted on fire. The flame was so high it came around my face and was so hot on our backs. There was another couple that had a horrifying look on their face while watching this all happen. When I came home my hair was singed a little. I don’t believe that they intentionally were trying to burn anyone in our party, but there is no way they could not know this was dangerous and no one came over and ask if we were OK. Unfortunately this is not a place I would recommend. $35.00 for the two dishes & fries. Seemed a bit high.
My gyro was delicious - best I've had in a long time!! But, my side salad was lacking. Wilted ice berg lettuce and there was a piece of plastic in it!
It's good, it's slow so much sure you have time, good food
