We have eaten here before and are never disappointed when we do. The food and service are excellent. We did have to wait a bit before being let in because we arrived during the peak lunch hour, but we only had to wait a half hour before we were actually seated. The nautical theme and working antique air mover add to the ambience. I tried the banana bread pudding with a side of ham this time. My wife had the bacon cheeseburger. We both enjoyed our meals taste and how quickly they had them ready for us. There are a few ways to get to this location. You can either drive here or take a bus or boat from Disney Springs. We like taking the scenic boat ride when we can. Vegetarian options: They have a Seasonal Market Salad and a West Indian Tofu and Coconut Curry on the dinner menu. The brunch menu has Papa's Hash and the Seasonal Marjet Salad. Kid-friendliness: I really didn't see a kids menu but the have cheeseburgers available. Parking: Parking is a bit limited at this location but you can park at Disney Springs and take a boat or bus from there to get to this location. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accesible. Dietary restrictions: Disney is very accomodating with special dietary needs. Olivias has a few dishes that are made without animal meat, dairy, eggs, and honey. Don't be afraid to mention your needs to your server.

Overall good food with some minor misses. Key west freeze was delicious and not overall tart. Shrimp fritter were very tasty, but wish they were a bit more crunchy. PRImE RIB!!!! The best seasoned item and vegetables I have had on Disney property although I could have done without the other side item. Dessert was a bit of a disappointment.

Friendly staff and quick service from checking in to paying the check! We had the Buttermilk Chicken , with a scoop of mashed potatoes and green beans, gravy and biscuit! It was delicious. Server was spot on with drinks and all seemed to good. The atmosphere is laidback and relaxing, seats are comfortable. Then the plates come out. This is where I have an issue for the price you pay for the amount of food you get. The biscuit was as large as the chicken, I rather have smaller biscuit in exchange for larger or more chicken! That’s what we came here for was the chicken. That’s why the three stars. Service is at 5 stars.

Perfect little gem at Disney! This is a great restaurant at the Old Key West Resort. Perfect if you are trying to stay on property, but you also want to get away from all the chaos of the busier restaurants. It still honors disney discounts, and reservations can be made on the app. We had a delicious meal with great service.Food: 5/5

Olivia’s Cafe is the main dining venue at Disney Old Key Rest resort. The menu is fairly small and includes a catch of the day, burger, prime rib, special of the day and the buttermilk fried chicken. We both tried the buttermilk fried chicken which included a very moist fried chicken breast, white gravy, mashed potatoes, a biscuit and green beans. This was a very good meal and I highly recommend it. The meal also included bread service, and the bread was very good and unique. It was a warm mini loaf of bread that has shredded coconut in it. For dessert we tried the key like tart, but next time we visit I would love to try the bananas foster. Our server was Tess and she was very friendly. Definitely stop here for dinner or lunch if you are visiting OKW resort.

Greatest Prime Rib in all Disney resorts!! 14oz End Cut was Fork Tender and Delish! Potatoes were amazing and even hard to describe. Southermost Buttermilk Chicken is their signature dish and must be tried. Banana Bread Foster was tasty but not quite up to Bread Pudding quality.Food: 5/5

It was a special date night, Olivia's was recommended and so I made a reservation... Unfortunately the night was spoiled by a cockroach on the table! Yes I know this is Florida, but I have never in the 4 years I've lived here had a cockroach crawl across my table right after they serve the entrees. I called the waiter back and asked him to do something about the cockroach that was now on the wall and crawling towards my date. The waiter asked my date to move aside so that he could hit it. He tried and missed and it ran towards me. I was about to smash it myself but the waiter got back over on my side of the table and was able to swipe at it three times before on the fourth swipe - he nailed it. He scooped up the now flattened cockroach and left. About 15 minutes or so later I'm assuming it was the manager, came by to ask how are meal was. What does one say to that when a cockroach was just smooshed on the table. Near our dinner plates which haven't even been touched yet. We ate and left, skipped dessert... I can't believe they let us sit there while they killed a cockroach on the table. Then did absolutely nothing else. They did not replace our meals with fresh ones, nor ask if we'd like to sit someplace else. There was no discount or acknowledgment of the event on the bill whatsoever. I suspect the waiter was afraid he wouldn't get a tip if he told the manager or the hostess and they comped the bill. I don't know, when I was a kid I was a waiter and I could see that happening. So I didn't cheap out on the waiter's tip. On the bill they suggest 18%, 22%, 28% tip amounts a practice I despise, I can do math. I gave him 20%. The bill came to just under $120.00 with tip. That was for two Mai Tais, breaded shrimp appetizer, two of their chicken dinners - and a German cockroach. The cockroach seemed pretty healthy running across the table, if he was moving slowly I would have known he was at least poisoned. But this guy was a star athlete! Nice job Disney sarcasm! You might want to look into this... Maybe contact the Board of Health? If there's a cockroach on the table with my food there is probably more in the kitchen. I certainly hope neither I nor my date get sick because of this. The Wonderful World of Disney - always full of surprises! I look forward to seeing a mouse at Disney - not cockroaches. Very unhappy and grossed out. Zero stars. If you read this, think twice about eating there. UPDATE: 07/26/2023 I'm still waiting and hoping for Disney to contact me about this. I want to discuss this with them so they can address it properly. I'm not looking to be compensated, or be a jerk, etc. The situation is embarrassing for all of us. Luckily my date has grown into a relationship since this writing. Disney - please contact me and I'll remove my review. I hope you will take action at the restaurant, train your staff better, and look into the pest problem if there is one. Thanks

My first time here on 3/24/23. I had heard good things but I was unsure. I didn't know what to order and Paul, my server, made a few suggestions. I'm glad I listened to him! It was almost 8pm, a late dinner for me. He recommended the parmesan crusted MahiMahi. Oh my! The mango ber blanc with a little spice was a fantastic sauce to top this light dish. The sides of parmesan grits and roasted Brussels sprouts set this dish over the top with flavor. Combined with the French onion soup and the unique coconut pineapple bread for starters, this meal was a complete hit. I give it a 10 of 10. Mahimahi $27, soup $10, bread complimentary. I was given the 10% DVC discount. They also take AP and Disney Visa for the same discount. Ask for Paul if you want a server that knows his stuff and how to treat his guests, you won't be disappointed.

Food was great! Servers were great! Service was very slow… for a Disney restaurant that’s rare in my experience. Some tables were empty even though people were waiting to sit. They needed more staff possibly more cooks too. Cmon disney management don’t ruin the experience now.Recommended dishesSouthernmost Buttermilk Chicken
