Jared the owner is super friendly and extremely helpful in selecting the right gear needed for whatever outdoor activity adventure you have planned. If you're not sure what gear you need or you're looking for quality gear that you can depend on when you're backcountry hiking, then this is the place you need to go!

Simple, got a one-person tent and a small, cheap sleeping bag. The person at the counter greeted me right away and tried assessing what I needed. Pointed me directly to options they thought would work best, I bought their first choice and left.

Fantastic shop! Great place for newbies starting an activity and experienced people looking to fill the gaps in their supplies.  Fun mix of new and used items. Snagged a new hat from Nepal, a jacket like new new should have been $200+ for $50, and a camping shower system!  Definitely going to make it a frequent stop and bring in some of our items that need someone new to love them!

Nice store, great way to save a buck and the environment by buying used. Nice and friendly employees. Ever changing inventory, so go back often.

Great place to save a few bucks before you go all in at REI!

I was visiting Olympia earlier this summer and was happy to discover the Olympia Gear Exchange as I wandered around downtown.  Great selection of new and vintage gear at very reasonable prices.  Jared was great - friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. I bought several things and am very happy with my purchases.  Next time I'm in Olympia, it'll be one of my first stops.

This is a really great shop. I dropped in on a whim with a friend and I enjoyed paroosing through some really nice items on consignment.

Phenomenal place for your outdoor gear needs. The staff is super helpful and seasoned outdoors people. They will go the extra mile so you can enjoy your trip. Amazing service and I highly recommend this place. Thanks for the tips and the Washington State app for trails by region.
