This place is the worst medical group I have ever been to. I always have to wait over an hour after my scheduled appointment time. They’re supposed to be pain specialists, but they never did anything for my pain except prescribe NSAIDs which I cannot take and offer epidural injections which didn’t provide any relief. The physician I saw spoke in a condescending way and doesn’t really listen to your concerns. I saw the physician for about nine months and she did not provide any pain relief. They are negligent and very rude there. They clearly do not care about their patients. I don’t know why they are called pain specialists if they won’t do anything to help their patients with pain.
When i met the physician the first visit, I received a couple minute lecture that they don’t prescribe pain medication. I wasn’t currently taking prescription pain meds but i sat there in shock. Since then the communication between her and i has not worked out. She talks more than she listens and the medical records reflect this issue, as some documentation was either incorrect or that i was definitely not understanding what she was saying. My husband went with me this last visit and told me she used too big of words for a non medical person to understand. Ive been in severe pain. Records stated that i denied injections and that I requested a neurosurgeon consult. I didnt do either. She brought up the consult. I simply agreed and i was there wanting to schedule an injection, not turn it down. Ive never been so confused as i have with her. She will not give me anything for the pain except lidocaine patches, in which i had to ask for after several visits of getting nothing. My PCP has to order my muscle relaxers and neurontin at times. Seems a bit messed up since she specializes in PAIN MANAGEMENT. And last but not least, she’ll only let me have one patch a day. Pretty sure u can use more than 1 patch in a 12 hr timeframe. I have severe neck and lumbar pain with severe thoracic spasms. My depression, anxiety and BP has been off the chain. In her office last visit my diastolic was 103. Its always high when i have to go see her. She says nothing. I don't typically post reviews but this has been a horrible experience for me. Not really sure where to go from here.
I was told by my doctor that she had talked personally with one of their doctors, who informed her that they would work with my situation. All I got from them was an order for a new MRI and a referral to a surgeon. They told me that everything they could do for me has already been done. I can't take NSAIDS because of ulcers, now it looks like I'm going to destroy my liver with Tylenol or rip open my stomach -- wouldn't even continue the medication therapy I had at a previous doctor. An overall waste of time and money.
Absolutely the most uncompasionate people I have ever met. It takes months to be seen and then you don't get any pain medication just x-rays and injections that last for a very short time, I am fed up with them. My doctor referred me there for the specific purpose of pain control and none received, these people are negligent and derelict in their duties. They receive no vote of confidence from me.
If I could give a 0 * for these people i would. Not only they did nothing to help me they were rude. They also fat shamed me and my wife. Then the only pain meds they gave me was tramadol 1 every 6 hours. My last pain management were giving me narco. And they told me they couldn't give that out. Really!!!! Now my wife is alergic to tramadol but they told her oh well suffer.
Dr. Lee is an excellent doctor. He has helped me tremendously. I still have some problems, but he does everything he can to keep me pain free. The procedures he has done, has helped me be relatively pain free for almost a year. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking pain management .
Dr Lamar way too busy for us plus how u gonna take someone off of a pain med after getting sum relief and all. Pain MTT is a joke. They pick and choose who they wanna help & screw everyone else.
The worst place ever, nobody cares and the nurses are the worst ever, i really liked dr. Lee he seemed to care but hopefully this place will b shut down bc of lame nurses . I would have to give this place a negative 5 stars. How they treat people and what they did was wrong
She stopped meds The only relief I had.She prescribed one week of muscle relaxers and 2 weeks of Gabapentin with no refills and said she would see me in 2 months. She refused to help me until I saw someone for my high blood pressure and anxiety. I did that and I got injections in my low back. She presented two other procedures we could try but then she fused to but she refused again until my anxiety is lessoned. Changing Dr.s. open to that. Because I was crying due to pain
