We had a great experience. Owner walked us through a custom build for my 8 year old son. He was knowledgeable and didn’t push to upsell us. He discussed everything with my son as he worked and showed a lot of patience. Definitely will return if my son chooses to continue skating.

Great store and experience. Getting back into skating after multiple decade break. Did a little bit of research and after riding a friends newer board new right away I wanted to ditch the old one.  Owner was super helpful answering questions. Just make sure you ask them if you got them.  We didn't have a place like this local to the area when I was a teen and skating before, it's so nice to know that Kettering has a place like this and there are so many great places to skate now. It's truly a gem.

I took my 13 year old son to get hardware for his deck. One Love Skate Shop did not let us down. They just gained a loyal customer. I've read a few negative reviews, and I can't see how they could get a negative review. They were very knowledgeable and super helpful.  The best skate shop I've been to hands down. Thank you so much for hooking my son up with such a cool board.

Would give zero stars if I could. The person “helping” me had a very bad, discriminatory attitude as I am clearly neurodivergent and didn’t know much about how to change roller skate wheels. Friends had told me that skateboard shops can do it and I was even willing to pay for it. Instead got treated with zero dignity and respect. I have never been treated this poorly by anyone in the community. Totally would not recommend.

Great shop! Staff was knowledgeable and super friendly. They put a board together with my daughter, made sure she left with proper fitting safety gear, and gave her the boost of confidence she needed. Definitely will be back.

So knowledgeable and helpful, he helped get my beginner kid's board set up and took the time to answer his endless questions. It's an awesome shop. We appreciate all the help, we will be back!  Thanks so much,  it was great to meet you and we will be back!

They are a great place that's been around for years and they have amazing brands and the workers are friendly and chill

By far the best skate shop I've been to. Owners were honest about price of boards vs customs. After finding a model I liked; it turned out to be the same as one of the owners, and he let me take his out for a test run. Overall atmosphere was perfect and the board I got has been running very smoothly.

Best Skate shop I’ve been, in over 30 years! Great inventory and very helpful staff. Hooked my son up with his first custom board. You might be able to get it cheaper online however, you cannot replace the experience of picking and choosing your board and all the hardware and accessories and riding out on a new board totally customized by you. Support your local shop!
