Open Mic Ruston was started to boost local creative talent opportunities. Ruston, Louisiana has been home to many talented artists over the years. Open Mic Ruston boasts regular performers ranging from as young as 14 years to almost as old as the walls themselves! Due to long setup times, drum sets are not allowed to give as many people as possible the opportunity to perform. However, hand drums and other percussive equipment are both welcome and available.
