Opportunity House is a volunteer-run, non-profit resale store which sells merchandise donated by community members.This organization makes items available at an affordable price, reduces waste by finding new homes for usable items and provides support for Monroe County United Ministries (MCUM).
MCUM provides full-time childcare for preschool children, a summer camp for children ages 6-12 and basic needs assistance for Monroe County residents in financial crisis. Opportunity House provides clothing and essential household items to MCUM clients and is the largest financial supporter of MCUM's programs.
