I have been coming to OHI regularly for over 35 years, and highly recommend the program here. I credit the diet and classes with helping me maintain good health and proper weight all that time. I just feel so much younger than my actual age of 77. Over the many years, the program has remained essentially the same, for the simple reason that it works! Come and experience what a real cleanse can do for your health, you'll feel so much better for it.

Accommodations – clean, comfortable. All organic sheets and towels + each room has an air purifier. Classes – the facilitators are top notch, well versed in the topic and the presentation of the material makes it easy to grasp. Food/Beverage – Although not gourmet, it will detoxify and heal. Which is the reason we come here. Much love is put into the preparation/presentation of the food by the awesome kitchen staff. Grounds – Delightful grounds. Impeccably manicured. Community –You’ll be amazed at how quickly people bond her. You’ll develop deep friendships that you’ll keep for a lifetime. Many arrive alone and know everyone by the end of the week. ïPrice – for all that you get for enhancing your mental, physical and emotional health, it’s quite a bargain. ïCovid protols – OHI touts that their premises are the safest place to be outside of your home. Their Covid protocols are strictly adhered to, with daily testing of all on campus. My first visit to OHI was in the fall of 2011. My 3 week stay made a huge difference to my health. My decision to come here was certainly a good one. If you have health issues that need to be addressed, there’s no better place to be. I highly recommend OHI. 5 stars all the way!!!

Optimum Health San Diego was an amazing experience, you have to go to yourself to truly appreciate. A perfect environment to relax and allow your body to heal -mind, body, and soul. I would recommend this program to everyone in my life. You owe it to your body to go through a program like this at least once a year. This program is wonderful. It's more than the perfect "reset" though it is thatI never wanted to leave! However, when I did leave, I left with those "tools" people talk about, those practical practices that address one's whole being. My ideas around food and the amazing things my gut does are seriouly educated but more immediately important to me were the teachings around the importance of identifying our values, the why, around which to organize our lives and schedules. For me this program, and the outrageously dear people one meets here, gives hope, where psychiatrists, other doctors and other meditation practices, never have. I'm certain you, too, will be grateful for OHI's program and it's ability to attract the magical people you will meet. I recently spent seven days in this beautiful slice of heaven. It really doesn’t get any better than this. For starters, I have had a few massages in my life but never ever anything even close to the two massages that I experienced at OHI. If I could give them 100 stars I would. After my massages and eating so well I literally felt like I was floating in the air. I felt so light and full of energy and I could just glide up the stairs like a gazelle. The food and juices and sprouts are so fresh, the body, mind and soul classes are relevant, uplifting and useful, and the teachers are phenomenal. The grounds are beautiful and the people are extra special!! I made so many new friends and we have already exchanged addresses phone numbers and ways to stay in touch. I truly loved my retreat and I have told many people that if I had any health issues or “opportunities” as they are called, I would head straight to OHI. If I had excess weight to lose I would also head straight to OHI. For me, I went just to experience a beautiful retreat in a relaxing atmosphere with food that was already prepared for me and was 100% live and raw. It was worth every penny and when I got home I also realized that I can write the trip off with my health savings account. Which you can too. So go for it and don’t wait another minute. Get ready for a life-changing experience! Body, mind, and spirit are all being nurtured in this wonderful place. It’s a true cleanse, so do not expect decadent raw food cuisine. This is like medicine, and it’s totally worth it to go through the process. It’s a three week curriculum, but you can go for one week or you can go for longer than three weeks. The facilitators are top notch. The facility itself has just gone through some upgrades, with new mattresses, organic materials, etc. It’s not fancy, but it’s clean, and the grounds are kept very beautifully. Lots of space to relax. Very quiet, no televisions, no distractions, you can really just let yourself relax. People come here with major medical conditions like cancer or they just want to have a break from the busy outside world and revitalize their health. It’s considered to be the best value in the United States probably, for what you get. Rates are about $1700 a week all inclusive, except for massage and colonics. I’ve been coming here since 1998 and I imagine keep coming until I die!

Love the Optimum Health Institute. I have gone 4 times and every time I get something great out of it. It's such a supportive environment and the classes are terrific.

This is my third time at OHI and I swear by it. It helps cleanse the mind, body, and soul. I highly suggest if you are going thru something or getting over something or if you just what to feel amazing, that you should check this place out. It’s not fancy and needs some upgrades but it’s worth it.

I was feeling stuck in my routine of eating bad and not taking good care of myself. My best friend had told me about Optimum Health many years ago and I had always wanted to try it. It was exactly what I needed. I went for 2 consecutive weeks. I not only was able to detox and loose 10 lbs but it helped me redefine my “why” for taking care of myself. I love the holistic approach. It addresses the mind, body and spirit. It is the most complete program I know of out there for resetting and getting back on track.

OHI is a wonderful program and I go every year for a week to reset and to continue being healthy and learn something new! The facilities are great and so is the staff and facilitators, everyone is so warm and welcoming! I highly recommend for those with a health opportunity or someone who just wants to reset or get rid of addictions! People who go there are open and it feels like a big family!
