Located in the Lamar Airways Shopping Center, OMG, is a liquor store transformed into a gallery, flex arts space & community gathering spot in Orange Mound.
Orange Mound Gallery (OMG), formerly a liquor store, opened in 2016. The gallery is intended to showcase a variety of art forms, including visual arts, music, and theatre. OMG is a program of ArtUp.
ArtUp’s mission is to invest in creative entrepreneurs and creative placemaking to empower disinvested communities. Our vision is to “artup” communities for the advancement of economic, social, and racial equity. Through the arts, ArtUp contributes to the economic workforce, and community development to directly benefit emerging artists and residents.
