Orange NJ Police Department

Towed my car from across the street from my home. Didn't even have the decency to come knock and let me know there was an issue. When my dad realized my car was being towed he ran outside and the cop and tow truck drove off laughing at him.

Officer was parked in a blind spot obstructing the view of on coming vehicles on Nassau and Valley st. to cross students, but instead he had a car double parked on the opposite side talking with a lady. His arrogant demeanor just stared at everyone as if we were inconveniencing him. As he caused traffic! Both his and the other car made a two way street become a one way. Thank god no child was harmed because of a potential accident and his inability to cross the children. In the future I pray which ever officer takes the light duty of replacing a crossing guard they take it a little more seriously. Had they both parked legally all would have been good. 2/15/19

They are unprofessional and rude. I called to report an altercation and they were being threatened. They said there was nothing they could do. They don’t care about their community. I have also been robbed before and placed a report and they knew my neighbors were the ones who did it. They never called me back to testify or identify them. Also, a friend of mine was robbed in her home. They took her debit card and went to the restaurant to where she works to purchase food with that same debit card. They had her on camera and the time and receipt of purchase. The detective didn’t do anything because the file could be downloaded on an USB drive. They are public servants, if you don’t care about the community then don’t become a police officer please. You are not supposed to just sleep in the office or in your car and give out tickets. You are supposed to protect and serve.

My car was towed for expired registration and the lady shonda or shornda what ever her name is, is one of the rudest officers there. What an ugly personality. Ghetto and rude.

Just placed a call because of some paint which had been dumped into the storm drain, my call was taken immediately and referred to the proper individual who promptly took my information and said that he would send a unit out to investigate, could not have asked for a better response from the municipal agency.

Never doing their job, they will watch the criminals pass by them 24/7, instead of catching them innocent humans beings, the ones who park on the wrong side just to get their food are the criminals. These new cops need to be checks and evaluated, they don't represent anything this state stands for TERRIBLE

Working alongside this department has been one of the worst attributing work forces I have experienced in my history of EMS. To all the 5 good officers on the road, in Orange, i apologize for what and who you have to put up with and I hope you eventually find a better opportunity elsewhere.

For 2016 I heard about at least 6 people being killed maybe more if i think enough, even babies getting shot and all you guys do is drive around and give tickets smfh...yall should be ashamed smh

The real ticket masters . Can’t park in front of your own home that you are payin 1800 for rent from 2 am to 6 am so they ticket you everyday and tow your car .
