Quiet park and everyone is very friendly. Dock across the street is great for fishing or just sitting around visiting. The park manager goes above and beyond for visitors. Highly recommend for short or long stays.
We have 2 dogs never an issue with fleas or ticks!!!!@ everything was friendly and nice, womens restroom/ shower was well appreciated due to the tiny one in the camper and was clean to my expectations.
Favorite place Great ppl except for one FF.
We stayed there for almost 18 months & we got to know the park well. The fleas & ticks are really bad & the grounds are not treated. The women's shower area & stalls are never truly cleaned. You can see the bugs in the corners of the stalls, as well as throughout the women's side of the bathhouse. I have been bitten many times by said bugs. The only cleaning I've ever seen done is sweeping of the floors, no other cleaning is done. There are photos taken April 2019 of some of the bugs & spiders I encountered when I used the bathhouse. When it rains there most of the park is a swamp. Do not drink, use the water for cooking, or to give your to pets to drink, because its Florida table water which is high in sulfur. Keith only treats the water when the guy comes out to test the water once a month. Florida table water itself in general should never be drank, or used for cooking unless its treated regularly & properly. Right before we left the park we seen that the sewage tank was draining down the back driveway it was visibly seen & smelt very bad as we would take walks around the park.
Staff is absolutely amazing, Keith and John are right there if you need anything, the view is phenomenal, across from the park is the intercoastal waterway, go kayaking, paddleboarding, and they have their own dock so you can fish as well. The clubhouse has fresh coffee every morning and on Mondays fresh donuts or pastries Florida is the best place to be in the winter time!
Excellent little place to stay. Keith goes out of his way to ensure your stay is a pleasant one. Theres a great little fishing spot just a walk across the street. Just remember, you will hear the train at night.
Secluded little Gem of a camping spot.
Best thing about this park are cooking demos done on Friday. The whole place floods when it rains, WiFi really only works in the clubhouse, we had issues with power surges. Lay in a really good supply of bug spray, too. The gnats, no seeums, mosquitoes, fleas and roaches are all in abundance!
One of the worst campgrounds I have ever visited. Water at site was three inches deep when it flooded, trains came by at night, we were 100 feet from tracks. Definitely would not recommend as we were not told any of this
My dear sis lives there and everyone Is very nice.the park is small and cramped up a bit yet its clean and organized..it just right.
