"Cozy, unique campground with that special charm. We offer back in sites, pull thru that will accomadate big rigs. Offering Creek side or upper levels . Wi-Fi included for our guests enjoyment. Small pond for catch and release, as well as large pavilion for family reunions!We also recently added a new coin operated laundry for our guests.Orchard Park uses Smart call block for the overwhelming amount of Robocalls. We were going to be in between houses and looking for a short term rental. A campground never crossed our minds until I saw an ad for a log cabin rental. It is just perfect!! Come to find out there are lots of people that live here. It s great place to visit and to stay. The staff is excellent!!!! We enjoy the creek and the fish pond with its water wheel. Quiet walks around the park with our dog are a multi times a day treat. The recently added laundry room is a big plus!!! It was really beautiful when it snowed earlier this year. Very grateful that we found this gem.
My husband and I were first time rv'ers and we needed a place to park while we waited for the completion of our new home. I was very hesitant because I'm not a camper or even a glamper but I must say it was a very pleasant surprise. The park is kept immaculate, has a laundry facility and is run and kept up by some of the nicest, most helpful people you'll meet anywhere. Charlie, Mindy and Billy were especially kind and helpful. The park is safe and is very quiet even at night and on the weekends. Highly recommend!
This place is very nice and very clean but the main thing is I've never been to a campground that is so quiet. Has a lovely fishing pond and a creek. The owner is a very kinda Christian man. And the lady that runs it is very sweet and makes sure it says clean . Very lovely quiet place. So so cute
I call this place home. Due to my husband's job, we have moved to a multitude of campgrounds throughout Western NC. Orchard park is by far our favorite! It's also the only one we've been to twice. The owner, Charlie Brooks is always on site improving and taking care of the campground. The new log cabins are really nice! Very nicely decorated. I would love to stay in one. I have cows in the field behind me! Love all the nature at this park! Lots of trees, a creek and a great lot layout. This is just some of the reasons I call this home and plan to stay for years to come. The location is great! Easy to get to Asheville, SC, Charlotte, Morganton. Lots to explore. Come and stay a while, you'll see for yourself why I love it here.
I relocated to Forest City for a job. I was going to rent a cabin here for a few months till I found something more permanent. Well, that was a year ago. I love my little cabin and the campground. It's peaceful, clean and in a convenient location. Charlie and Mindy address any problems right away.
Great place to stay! Owner and staff are amazing! Charlie and Mindy will do everything they can to make your stay a great one. Very quiet campground with lots of nature to enjoy. Close to town but very peaceful.
They gave me the back door instead of the front address
Orchard park is a very nice park,lots of old signs & implements around. Park is very well kept,very peaceful and quiet,lots of shade,a little creek running along edge of park. The owner mr. Charlie, & park host Miss Mindy are 2 of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.
Quiet, relaxing place to camp. Many fun activities for children to do. The people who work there are really kind and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant.
Tidy little Oasis. 30 min. Or so to chimney Rock and Lake lure. Pretty little place by a stream rolling hills and a farm, although not far from town a world away. I've never felt so safe and welcomed.
