From the first time I contacted Samantha, it was an excellent experience. She helped me with all of the arrangements for my husband and kept me informed from start to finish on his solidified remains. I’m beyond grateful to her for making a very difficult time a little easier for my daughter and I.
The people at Oregon Cremation Co made a very difficult time in my life so much easier to handle. They were kind and accommodating. They helped everything run smoothly and helped it be affordable to me.
Benjamin Irwin was accessible and professional each time we spoke. He is rock solid each step of the process; very much a relief during a confusing time. When I pass, I will make it clear that I want Oregon Cremation Company to to take care of me.
Obviously, everyone who is working with the Oregon Cremation Company is going through a very difficult time. From my first contact with the company, until I picked up my loved ones ashes, every person I dealt with did everything possible to help me make decisions. There was no attempt to upsell me or take advantage of my emotional state. I was given plenty of information with which to do what felt right for our family. Loosing a loved one is truly the most challenging thing you will ever face. It's very hard to put a thought together let alone plan your loved ones final arrangements. I was completely lost when trying to make my fathers arrangements until I found Oregon Cremation. Ben was the person who guided me through every step. He explained everything very clearly and was very patient with our family, as this can be a very upsetting process. They also have the most reasonable prices in Oregon as well. Everyone we dealt with at Oregon Cremation was kind and caring. Thank you.
I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Oregon Cremation Society. It could not have been better. I was impressed by their reviews and was not disappointed. Samantha was wonderful to work with, my questions were answered in a prompt and caring way, and the support was fantastic. In a very difficult time for me, she was with me all the way. Follow-up and written materials were so useful as well. Samantha and others were very patient and good listeners; costs were fair and reasonable and I did not feel being "up-sold.." Many many thanks for everything!! Highly recommended .
My girlfriend was in there TODAY for a 2pm appointment with Jeff scheduled a week ago with her mother. After an extremely long wait, at 2:50 Jeff came in and stated he was sorry but a family walked in with questions and he was almost done strike one. Left and came back, as she was leaving she told him she was upset that he took a walk in ahead of her bumping her appointment time . He then said he was accidentally double booked after he clearly stated a family "WALKED IN WITH QUESTIONS" strike 2 My girfriend called later to speak with management and was refused any information of who she could speak with. She at that time was told Jeff claims her appointment was at 4 not 2. This from an email written by Samantha H after resusing any other info was told write an email and she would forward STRIKE THREE I do believe management may read this. Death is a very touchy and unpleasent subject to deal with in the first place and the lady that was taken there was trying to do the responsible thing so as not to leave this on her chlldren. Your SALESMAN made her feel unimportand and put off. Your SALES team is now claiming they are going to go to her house, we know this will not happen. Your office has made an elderly person procrastinate and it is unlilely she will reach out again. SHE WAS THERE TODAY TO MAKE AND PAY FOR FINAL ARRANGEMENTS. FELT SHE WAS TREATED LIKE A USED CAR LOT
This company is compassionate and reasonably priced. They transported my loved one after she passed. Her body was handled gently and with the utmost care by a very respectful team. I did not opt for an urn but the cremains were in very sturdy packaging when I picked them up. There wasn't a hint of upsell. The company has provided me with practical info on the tasks involved in closing a life, plus written materials about grief and loss. Top notch in all aspects, I highly recommend Oregon Cremation Company.
This was an amazing company to work with. They came discretely and picked up my loved one, no upswell were very compassionate even checked back later. If I hadn’t already made arrangements for myself years ago I would have done so with this company.
