Orem Eye Clinic

I ran into a surprise billing issue that I did not understand. After a bit of miscommunication, I was able to talk to Shery and resolve it. I feel the eye doctors are very conscientious and excellent. They also have a nice selection of frames from expensive to cheaper ones. Becca helped me out through the process and was very helpful and hilarious. : Ty

I had the most wonderful experience. Great staff and Doctors. Everyone there treats you like a family member.I highly recommend Orem Eye Clinic.

Predatory collections tactics. I scheduled an eye appointment with another clinic and confused them with this one. Received a call that I missed my appointment. Explained that I made the appointment in error and that I actually meant to make an appointment with another eye center. They said that was fine but that I'd be required to pay $25 for cancelling an appointment. I explained the appointment was a mistake. They said regardless, I would need to pay. I explained that I have never been a patient there and they have never rendered any service. They still said I need to pay. This is top down predatory practices. Whoever is in charge over there has issues. I will never go to this place and will tell everyone for the rest of my life to not go to this place. Since then they have called trying to collect and sent me a bill. Do not trust this place with any of your information. Orem Eye Center was great and strongly recommend them. : Continued: I appreciate the response from the company and that after providing a negative review that they will not be pursuing this invalid and unfair charge to collections. I explained what happened the first time they called when I spoke with them on the phone. I was very clear that the appointment was a mistake with Orem Eye Clinic and I was trying to schedule at the Orem Eye Center. However, they said that I needed to pay their fee anyway and I said that was ridiculous and would not. Then they called back a second time trying to collect again. A week later I received a bill for $25 with a notice that unpaid balances would be sent to collections. I believed predatory collection tactics is a pretty good description of what I experienced. A great reply would have been, "This behavior is absolutely unacceptable and it never should have happened and will not happen again." I appreciate the fee being waved and also appreciate that I now know that you will not be sending this to collections. All of this could have been resolved on the first call but it was not. I would recommend reviewing your fees and collections policies and see it there is a way that similar issues could be prevented in the future.

If the receptionists were as good as the doctor and techs, I would give 5 stars. However, based off of multiple experiences with the front desk in the afternoons, unfortunately there is a good chance you won't have a good experience with them at this time. However, the doctor and techs are really good and it feels like they actually care about their work.

Received a bill from a collections agency when I had no idea I even owed these guys money. No notification via mail or email of any outstanding balance, just straight to collections I guess. Very sketchy billing practices, will be avoiding this practice in the future.

We absolutely love the Orem eye clinic! We see Dr Aaron King and he is not only nice but so fun to talk to. He is also super knowledgeable and knows his stuff. The office staff is so nice and helpful too.

So good so good! I have seen Dr King and his assistants ? and the front staff; everyone has been wonderful, helpful, and informative each time! Dr. King cares about long term eye care as well as the present, and will never pressure you into buying anything. He answers all my questions, as well as the girls on the phone when I call with questions! Couldn’t be happier

I’ve taken my kids here for years. Scheduled an appt a month out, had to be at the doctor with another child so my husband left work early to take her. They walked in 5 minutes late and were rescheduled.. if you don’t cancel 72 hours in advance with them they will charge 25$ rescheduling fee, but they can reschedule you with no warning for being 5 minutes late. Absolutely ridiculous. We will find a new place for our family.

Dr. King is very transparent about my care. He lets me know exactly what is going on the whole time without me having to ask and works hard to make sure everything is done thoroughly and to high standards. I definitely would recommend him as an optometrist. Plus, the clinic has very soothing decorations. Every visit I have had has been as enjoyable as a doctors appointment could be expected to be.

This has to be our best experience with an eye doctor and support staff ever. We are glad that we stumbled upon them! They got us an appointment very quickly, and everyone was very friendly, prompt, and knowledgable. Dr. King took his time and we never felt rushed or left with questions. Well deserving of 5-stars all around.
