This is one of the best boutiques I have ever been in !!! The first time I went I was a little apprehensive because I often have a hard time finding clothes that fit me in small boutiques. This is the first place that I have been to that I found A LOT of options for my body type! The owner is beyond nice, and went above and beyond to help me. She made me feel comfortable and was very helpful in helping me to pick out what I looked good in! Her clothes are beautiful and really well made, I always get compliments when I wear something from her store. I have since gone back a bunch of times. The last time I went she altered a skirt on the spot for me so it would fit my body better. I cannot rave enough about how much I love this store!

This is an amazing woman- owned shop, the clothing is beautiful and the owner is terrific.  Renee is so helpful and very very nice.  You don’t feel pushed into buying something you are not sure of.  She will definitely be there if you need an opinion and be honest - she wants you to love what you purchase.   I will be coming back to shop in this little gem in Bay Shore!

*I copied and pasted this review from my Yelp account*  Maybe this is the kind of place that's kinder to its regulars, but apparently not to strangers. Well, I'm a few towns away, but still. As soon as my friend and I walked in, we were greeted by the owner, who came across as intense and didn't offer assistance. She stared at my friend and I the whole time and what I thought was an article of clothing in the tiny, packed Sales section was a curtain to a secluded part of the store. It was a MISTAKE, which I apologized for as I tried to leave the area. Then, this is on me, I knocked something over again, it's a tiny space, and she literally told me, and I quote, "Come on out of there." I apologized and got no response. This was wildly unprofessional and downright rude, it did not go with the store's vibe at all. Absolutely not returning, this owner needs to learn manners and how to treat people.  Since I've posted this on Yelp I was given a comically long response I couldn't even finish reading, but it began with calling me a liar. The friend I went with says there is now "coincidentally" wink a glowing review up from a different person. PATHETIC. So go ahead; give me an essay of a response I won't read of why I'm the worst customer ever, then have another little buddy post a fake review.

I had such a great experience here! Renee was so sweet in helping my pick out a dress. I was able to wear it out of the store, really made the day. I really appreciate the stores protocol during covid, still making the experience enjoyable while keeping everything safe and sanitized. Will definitely come back here on my next shopping occasion :

The only thing that I’m most disappointed about is that I didn’t come to this shop sooner! First of all, the owner keeps everything spotless and super safe with sanitizing everything after each touch. Secondly, the clothes are beautiful. She specifically takes in clothes that are small batch, female owned and extremely unique to anything else you can find around. When you walk in, she helps you with whatever you may need, whether it’s finding the perfect size, or even offering complimentary alternations if it just needs a little adjustment. I’m going to follow Origin of Era wherever they go and I’m going to be a customer for life.

Beautiful clothing but store clerk made me feel extremely uncomfortable. When trying something on and discussing with my sister if I should buy the garment or not, she walked up and kept saying “well you don’t need to justify buying it if you don’t like it”... I was in the middle of saying how much I did like what I had tried on. Weird, but didn’t deter me from my shopping experience until she then said “you guys must not be from here”. To which I responded, “actually we were born and raised here so what are you getting at with that?”. Her: “you just don’t look like LI girls.......”. At that point we were obviously very uncomfortable and set her straight before leaving on how extremely rude that was. Terrible experience. Will order straight from the designer and will never come back here. No wonder they’re closing!

Found this hidden gem while on the hunt for a birthday present. Everyone was extremely helpful and they had a variety of things to choose from. Not only did I purchase the gift I was looking for but walked out with some things for myself as well. Found a store that has amazing finds and that could be dangerous to me since I love to shop will definitely be back.

Love this boutique!  Awesome clothes and accessories with friendly personalized service and I always have a great shopping experience in a calm  environment.  Not to mention the fabulous outfits you won't find anywhere else!!

Beautiful clothes. Salesperson was extremely helpful and pleasant.  I will definitely shop here again.
