Foot Sensation on Bloor Street West has a fabulous selection of high quality shoes for troubled feet. I recently had orthotics made by Aaron and as promised, they arrived in time for my up-coming trip. Although I have worn them very little picked them up yesterday I feel the support they offer. A great selection of footwear is really of little value to me without the knowledge of someone who knows how to properly fit the shoe and can advise the customer on appropriate selection. That someone is Aaron. He has a lot of knowledge and experience and offers tips along the way that for me have been a real game changer. Thank you Aaron, Sincerely, Sharon
I bought a pair of insoles here. When I went to pick them up, the person working the cash was new and a bit confused on how to do the transaction. The owner or manager, whoever the man in charge was, was very rude and snappy to her. That makes me not want to go back. edit: The manager who helped with most of my transaction over the phone called me and told me that the person would be spoken to, which makes me feel better about shopping there in the future. Otherwise it is a good store. I just don't want to shop anywhere where employees are mistreated.
My favourite shoe store in Toronto. The staff are super-knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, never pushy. I have always had trouble finding shoes that for properly because of foot issues and, more recently, the start of arthritis…. staff helped me find shoes that were comfortable AND looked great. I have since come back for more shoes, even though it takes me an hour to get here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Only shoe shop that seems to carry my size women's 42 aka US11, the people who work here are amazing and super helpful they do their best to accommodate me always finding alternatives when something is not available in my size. The products are great quality. Second time here and I highly recommend it.
Aaron is an EXPERT in fitting shoes for "difficult" feet! I have osteoarthritis and custom orthotics with a Morton's extension, which make it difficult to find proper-fitting shoes. I have never come across anyone with the depth of Aaron's foot expertise outside of a hospital. He not only showed me the best shoes for my condition, but also told me why, and what I should look for in future shoes. I virtually danced out of there with not one pair of shoes, but THREE - sandals, shoes and running shoes. Imagine what he can do for the fortunate people who have "normal" feet! Thanks a ton, Aaron!
The success of a business depends mainly on the employees, the working force, how these people are treated, the working conditions. I’ve been hearing serious complaints about how employees are treated in this business, therefore I’m checking carefully how things evolve before I decide to do business here or not. People are more important than profit. Employees must be treated in a fair and respectful way. I’m not going to this store until I hear the employees have good conditions of work and are treated with the dignity they deserve.
Purchased beautiful red Lowa hiking boots and red Finnamic walking shoes to help me stay active despite my plantar fasciitis. Anita was great with finding me the right fit and I’ve been extremely pleased with both products. I will be back. Thanks so much for the outstanding service.
This store is great both in terms of service and products. My shoes are so comfortable and suitable for work. And the people are so friendly and helpful. There is no pressure- just support. Please support our local shop!
Absolutely amazing. I went here yesterday in search of something that could help with my overpronation and plantar fasciitis, and the woman helping me was incredibly kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and a delight to talk to. She helped me find a pair of shoes and arch support, and it's the most comfortable my feet have ever felt! I'll definitely be coming back here any time I need shoes.
I would give 10 stars if I could! 20! 50! Excellent experience. Foot Sensation rejuvenated a very old and very worn pair of Birkenstocks for me and I couldn't be more satisfied. The straps were still good but the cork and soles destroyed, and now they are perfect once again. They did the work in less than a week and the sandals are now comfortably back on my feet. Sensational!! Highly recommend!!
