Oryana Community Co-op is a great place to shop. Always lots of delicious food with a broad selection. Produce fresh and generally ready to eat. Many of the departments have fantastic selection. The bulk foods area far superior to other grocers. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. Great nut selection and nut butters, even if you like to make your own.
Great place to shop for all the things you just can't find anywhere else, or, hey, just all the things. Bulk treats, local eggs, specialty cheeses, fresh, frozen, and pre-packaged foods. Great selection of skin care items! They also have essential oils and supplements. Beautiful produce. Shop your local co-op. Very welcoming and happy place. It feels good to shop here.
Please come downstate to Detroit we would love to support an all-natural and holistic grocery store that isn't owned by Amazon. On a real note though, this place was such a gem!! A TON of vegan and gluten free options. Amazing products, high vibe people, delicious cafe food! We made a whole grocery trip before coming back home. 1000/10!!
My husband and I went to shop there for the first time to check it out. Will never shop there again. It is definitely not an everyday person's grocery store. Too expensive! Spent a little over one hundred dollars and only got two grocery bags that were 3/4 full. Why does a box of cereal have to cost $10? The customers we were around were rude and in a hurry. The staff didn't pay customers much attention either. It was definitely obvious the market they cater to and it's not the local market even though they are a local co-op. Their prices are not "local's" prices. Yes, the place was clean, that's about all I can say that's positive.
Friendly staff and VERY helpful! We were looking for a jelly and it wasn't carried in the store. She didn't give up looking, found us while we continued shopping and let us know she found something similar and we ended up buying it. I wish I got her name! Awesome customer service!
I love your delicious meat spheres that are served in the hot bar. However with the recent increase in price to 11.99 per pound. I can no longer afford. And for this I'm sad. :, so long oryana its been a good ride I will have to seek nutrients from another.
I don't do much shopping here but, I do purchase my propolis spray from this location. The west side location does not carry it. The propolis spray can be used for several things but wound care seems to be what I use it most for. Love the store as it is always nice and clean. Friendly employees will help you find what you are looking for.
Such welcoming and friendly staff, a great selection of goods one can feel good about sharing with family and friends. An investment in health, community and environment that pays so many seen and unseen dividends.
Oryana is a wonderful place for interesting groceries and fresh produce and bulk legumes and refilling your jars and containers by weight with a whole lot of things. Quality is clearly top priority but they've also got all the hip varieties.
Great natural food and natural care products! Prices are higher than necessary, compared to similar items found at other stores through the country. Great spot for coffee, bars of natural soap and to refill grains, nuts, seeds etc. Also Kombucha! Love the affordability of the kombucha. People were friendly here as well.
