The Oshkosh Parks Department consists of Oshkosh’s parks, cemetery, zoo, urban forestry programs, Lakeshore Municipal Golf Course, Pollock Community Water Park and the Leach Amphitheater.
The Parks Department system has twelve rentable shelters located in four different parks and six boat launch areas. The park system consists of 332.58 acres with an additional 97.5 acres for the Lakeshore Municipal Golf Course.
The City of Oshkosh seeks to provide a park and recreation system that will meet the needs of our current residents and future generations, preserve and protect the City's open space, water, historical and natural resources, and provide a park and recreation program that is designed to enhance the City's quality of life. The following goals and associated objectives are recommended to address park, outdoor recreation, and open space needs and opportunities in the Oshkosh area.
