what an awesome place. we were on the road and came very late in the evening. the owner stayed up and waited for us. even though it is an rv ground he did take us in with our tent. we had a really persoanl and nice chat. we loved it. the sunrise,...boy was that great. sea otter swimming in the lake and heron on the tree. fog on the water...so beautiful. go there
Very nice people. Bath house is well kept and view is amazing. If you're looking for a mellow quiet place with a great view and easy access to lake mattamuskeet and all of its ammentities this is the place.
This is such a gem of a campground! Beautiful setting, clean bathhouse and lovely owners. It is a mix of year round and occasional campers. What a find!
