The NJ Y Camps is one of the nation’s premier Jewish camping organizations, with seven camps clustered at two locations serving children, families and seniors. The camps draw more than 4,000 campers each summer from numerous communities, primarily in the New York-New Jersey region, encompassing 16 JCC affiliates. Through a generous scholarship program, no child is turned away because of financial need.
Founded in 1920, the NJ Y Camps is among the oldest Jewish camps in the nation. Today, the NJ Y Camps is a leader in innovative programming, which runs the gamut from specialty sports programs to the arts and sciences, all enhanced through partnerships with experts in the fields and leading national and international institutions.
