The #1 Char Siu roast pork served with the tastiest tonkoysu soup with ramen noodles topped with scallions, kikurage, mushroom, seaweed corn and boiled egg. Was great. Friendly and helpful explanation of food offerings. Fun festive atmosphere. Bring your friends and have a party! Easy parking options. I use parkwhiz.
Loved the food. The service is almost unfriendly. But we did enjoy the food…very authentic…and I appreciated the easy to read menu board with detailed descriptions. If you like Ramen, I would add this to your “to-do” list.Food: 5/5
Who doesn't love noodles. Crazy people that's who. I love noodles of all kinds. Otani was a nice find. There service was great. Very friendly people. The food was delicious and it was better priced then my local ramen place which is surprising because I live in a small town. The layout of the dining room was spacious with plenty of seating. They do have some other options in case you're not a noodle fan. I strongly recommend.
Amazing food. Authentic - and they take special requests. The fried tofu was out of the world. Cleveland’s best ramen is right here. Vegetarian options: They’ve vegetarian ramen and fried tofu as vegetarian options to try
Honeydew Boba was delicious. Got the #11 Ramen bowl, medium spicy, which was very good! Service was quick and even though I ordered to go, the atmosphere is very nice inside.Food: 5/5
I give this place a 3.5. Ramen was delicious. I chose Jikogu Ramen which is a spicy soup base with chicken. I will be coming back but just for ramen. The green tea was not my favorite. Honestly if the tea was better I would have gave 4 stars. The store could be a bit cleaner. But again the ramen was great and I will be back.
If you’re looking for delicious, quality, and affordable Japanese fare in downtown Cleveland, this is the place! We got the Shrimp Tempura Ramen, the pork Katsu Don, Gyoza, Steak Yakitori, Miso Soup, and the Ginjo Sake. The presentation was great, and portions were perfect. You can seat yourself after you order at the counter, but they serve the food to you. The man at the bar was very knowledgeable about the Sake. It was our first time having it, and his recommendations were accurate! The Ginjo Sake was very smooth and easy to drink. It had a light botanical taste, reminding me of gin. The Gyoza was some of the best I’ve had. The Steak Yakitori was perfectly cooked, saucy, and flavorful. I don’t always like seaweed, but the seaweed in the Miso Soup was delicious and definitely changed my opinion. The pork Katsu was slightly dry that’s really easy with pork tho, but flavor was on point. The sauce was sweet and the egg was perfect. The Ramen was the perfect temperature. There was a generous amount of noodles, and the shoyu broth made it hard to stop eating. The shrimp was served on the side, which was appreciated. All in all a great experience. I will be recommending this place to friends visiting Cleveland, and I hope to return next time I’m in the city!
The service was super quick. The noodle bowl was awesome. Tables were clean with high tops and tables available. They even have some Asian soft drinks, which are tasty as well as difficult to open. Highly recommend.
