My son was in Kindergarten in this school for the 2019-2020 school year. I wish I had saved the tuition money and just placed it his college savings instead. When we drive by the school, he still tells me how much he hated it there. He had a teacher who taught for the past 30+ years. She was mean and would compare all of her students to her favorite student and boast about his reading abilities. She asked my son and his classmates, "are you deaf?" When they didn't abide by her strict rules. I talked to the Principal about this and he said, "Oh! Come on! We all say stuff like that." Ableism isn't okay and it's cruel to say this to children. As soon as we swapped my son to a public school in a good district they realized he needed glasses. A veteran teacher should've picked up on this instead of attacking what he "couldn't" do. Jokes on her; my son scored 10% of his district and has been recommended to the Gifted and Talented program. He has had wonderful, welcoming teachers in his new school. Don't waste your money on this outdated school both in physical environment and emotional intelligence. In this case, "private school" does not equal "better." Shoutout, however, to the office staff- who always did their best to make me feel comfortable and who were kind to my son.
I attended this school from kindergarten to 5th grade. The staff are very intolerant and inconsiderate towards children in unfortunate home circumstances. On top of that the teachers regularly bully, scream at and insult little kids. Some of the insults we received as 3rd graders are as follows, "You're all slow as molasses" " You're all going to grow up to be bums". When I struggled to comprehend the mathematical work load I was humiliated in front of my peers and made to feel stupid. The teachers complain about their jobs and and behave as though they are paying you to attend this school. On the bright side I received a better education here then I would've in a public school or most other catholic schools, so if you feel your child's mental health and self esteem are unimportant then consider this school worth the price.
I just graduated last year and people are saying it was a bad school. Never that, I was usually helping around the building a lot whenever I didn't have class and would see the classrooms and all that. everything was fine. People say kids would bully each other and that's also a lie. the teachers always are keeping a close eye on the kids. They are also very helpful with education. My 8th grade teacher last year helped my class to get smarter so we can go to our desired schools. Whatever happens outside of the school has nothing to do with them. No bullying had gone on in the school and if it happens outside well that's your personal problem. I've been here 10 years and loved it.
Not good keeping up on time to open the doors for early drop off at 7:15am or 745am on regular full day off school make people wait they acted like they not wrong.
