I booked an appointment on Zocdoc to switch my primary doctor to Dr. Overbeck as I’m moving my residence here from Texas. The office called 2 hours later and canceled my appointment because of the Dr.’s “policy” before I could explain my situation. Don’t waste your time, the office personel are extremely rude.
if i could rate this piece of trash a 0 i would. i scheduled on zocdoc and listed self pay as an option that's given to check because i don't have coverage... i had a virtual appointment and go to sign on and my appointment was cancelled a minute before. when i called the doctor gets on the phone and says "oh we don't self pay".. THEN WHY DOES IT SAY YOU DO!? they said they called me "multiple" times today which i did not get because i have a job that requires my attention.. and go to see my voicemail, they called 14 minutes before my appointment. WHAT TYPE OF DOCTOR DOESNT TAKE CASH PAY. absolute trash. all i needed was a referral to go to physical therapy that is scheduled for TODAY via my lawyer after a slip and fall..
I had fine visit before, but today it is the worst visit, if it’s qualified as a medical visit. I was ok about waiting. The PA took my BP with the electronic machine and O2. My BP. Was 85/66. She wasn’t bothered to take it again until that’s low. Never had that before. She took it again 95/66. She checked the record she said, you are right the last 2 years was 120/80. I said I don’t think the machine is accurate. Then waited for 35 minutes for the Dr. To come in and said you’re all set and wrote Lab corp on the blood work sheet the PA printed. He didn’t check my breathing pattern, no checking heart beats and on and on. That is the worst doctor’s visit I ever had.
Have a good feeling about this place George called to confirm an appointment I have coming up and asked to explain my issue if I “feel comfortable” that is so sweet considering all of the other places I’ve been to has a ‘what do you want’ type attitude. Really looking forward to my first visit!
Absolutely unprofessional. I scheduled an appointment, I received phone calls to confirm the appointment and when I showed up on the day, I was told three people were before me. I asked if I could still be seen at the agreed time and they confirmed. After waiting for 20 min, they suggested I reschedule because it was going to be a long wait. Needless to say, this was the first and last time I’d try to see this doctor!
I've been going to Dr. Overbeck for many years now. And I've referred many people to his care. He is by far one of the most kind and caring doctors in our area who is willing to look deeper into why you aren't well. He is willing to talk about diet and lifestyle and takes a more holistic approach if that's what you're interested in.
Billed the wrong insurance and I've been calling for over a month, many times and leaving messages, no one ever answers, to ask for it to be corrected and I never recieve a call back even though the message says I will get a return call within 24 hours. However, I keep getting bills in the mail the same bills I'm trying to correct constantly. Very frustrating, do NOT recommend
Great doctor-great service. Everything about the experience here was perfect. They treated me like a friend and gave me a free tetanus shot before I left. I couldnt have asked for a better service
Excellent care and service. Dr. Overbeck and the staff were very friendly and made me feel very comfortable during the routine tests/physical.
Rude, disorganized, judgemental and really doesn’t want new patients at all
