Seems to be a brilliant park, but I haven’t been here for a while except the early 2010’s. Such a shame I’m going to have to not only give it one star, but inside one of the porta potties, someone has just put toilet paper inside the portable toilet. And there’s no water fountains either. It’s not a bad park, I mean there’s nothing wrong with it, except the fact that this playground does not have a water fountain or a public restroom which are not slated until sometime soon. Too bad I’m not going to give out that information since it’s none of my business. A number of slides at the playground only had 7.
Ovid Hazen Wells is one of the larger local recreational parks in Montgomery County. This park serves the Clarksburg and Germantown areas Playground: There is a small playground here Restrooms: The picnic areas have portable toilets but there are no permanent restroom facilities here Dog-friendliness: No specific dog areas here Picnic area: Three covered picnic areas
My son have his first game here and the park is very nice and clean they have a big parking space, is in a good neighborhood .
Beautiful park area. We were there for the kids baseball games.
Nice park...well maintained. Gave 4 stars because no water, power, or lights in pavilions.
Ovid Hazen Park is amazing! There's just so much to do! Are you a baseball of softball player, check out the amazing fields and have fun with friends as long as its not reserved. If you don't like sports, but want a workout, feel free to take any route you want around the park. If you want your kids to play outside, there is no place better than the playground at the Ovid Hazen Park. It's huge barn shape is sure to draw your child's attention and they will be asking you to come visit again. Personally, I always loved to climb around the outside of the barn-shaped playground. There's even a mini playground that's not attached to the huge playground for younger kids and/or babies. It's amazing! If you have free time on your hands, visit the park! Overall, it is the best place for you, your kids, your friends, and your family! Go to Ovid Hazen. I assure you, it's an experience you won't forget.
Nice park! Very spacious!!! Has a nice and very long "trail." The playground is perfect, more than enough for the little ones. I did not see any dog waste stations, however I wasn't focused on that, instead on the park overall.
An out of towner, there for a grandkid's end of season T-ball party. Great layout, easy access to playground from pavilion. Trash collection came by while we were there, they were thorough, and friendly to the kids.
We come here as a family most times. Because of covid19 we don't play on the park area but we do take walks on the pathways. Its a wonderful place to be able to train our puppies some more and have our kids be able to get exercise and ride bikes at together.
This park is a hidden gem. The play equipment is fun for toddlers and up, and it's one of the few parks that has shade all day for the parents. There's also a port-a-john, several picnic pavilions with charcoal grills, and baseball fields.
