Very delicious and fresh. The service was extremely polite and attentive. I enjoy my experience and the sushi is just too good. I’ve been back a few more times with friends. They have a nice outdoor patio if you want to bring your dog. Definitely our new go to spot for some bomb sushi. I recommend getting the rainbow roll, oyama special, rock n roll, and lion king roll.
This morning fish delivery. Very fresh sushi and generous portions.Food: 5/5
This place is overpriced for the average quality of fish. The owner is skimping on the fish quality, very disappointing. I tried the scallop, yellowtail and salmon and all were very mediocre. Service was good so that made up for it being a wasted day. Much better Japanese places in the area.Food: 3/5
Decent sushi restaurant with some interesting rolls and good presentation. In addition to sushi, appetizers such as tonkatsu, and noodles such as udon and ramen are also available. The sushi was not particularly fresh but not too bad. The ramen and chashui were cooked well, if a bit lacking in flavor. The service was excellent and very attentive.
Good portions, fresh food but I ordered a sushi roll with real crab meat but they put fake in it so maybe don't pay more for real one if you go, other than that it's a nice place.
This spot is consistently good. All of the staff seem to speak Mandarin in addition to English! but they make delish Japanese food. I’ve probably been here at least a dozen times and the only complaint is the dressing on the salads seem to be devoid of oil, like it’s just a shoyu sauce only. Other than that though, udon, sushi/sashimi, poke salad, and cooked things like gyoza, teriyaki & tempura are traditional and tasty.
Thank you for the incredible sushi during this time! It's great to hang out at Bon Air and have yummy sushi! Stay safe!
Phoned in an order for pick-up you never know how that’s going to turn out with sush… but even in plastic to-go boxes Fortune 50 exec’s were impressed. Staff was great and super friendly. I didn’t eat the food but my boss said everyone in the lunch meeting was super impressed.
Hands down my favorite sushi spot. I live in Berkeley but regularly make the commute across the bridge to Marin for this restaurant. Sushi always taste good and fresh, the presentations are always on point, and I really like their combination of sauces and seasonings on the various rolls I've tried.
Very, very GOOD. Barley Tea, Gyoza, Miso Soup, and an SF Oyama Roll. Just what the Doctor ordered on a cold rainy day.
