I got a lemon cupcake, it was dry with very little lemon taste. I was not happy with it, as I love lemon cake and other lemony stuff.

I serisouly haven't met a Susie's Cake I didn't like! I cant decide between the coconut and the vanilla celebration, both are amazing!  Oh my and the red velvet.....you can buy them by the slice and they even sample. One slice will serve more then one. I promise this place won't disappoint! It's nestled in next door to Gotts.

I live their treats especially the mini cupcakes    cookies and coconut cake I little annoyed you have to pre order the mini cupcakes but otherwise awesome  treats great service and employees

In my opinion, the best cake in Marin is the celebration cake at Susie cakes. I also have to say the nicest people work there. Every person that works there is extremely nice. It’s always a pleasure to go there.

SusieCakes has always been a favorite of ours so when it came time to find a cake for our wedding, we knew we wanted the fabulous Celebration cake from SusieCakes!  Our wedding was up in Petaluma, CA so the closest SusieCakes is the shop in Greenbrae. The staff there is super helpful and spent ample time with me brainstorming design, frosting choices, etc. I felt like I was in great hands the whole time. On the day-of, the cake was everything I wanted. Tasted delicious and looks terrific!  Would highly recommend SusieCakes and especially this location.

We bought a small size strawberry cake with whipped cream frosting for a birthday celebration.  It was so delicious, light and fresh that everyone had two servings, something that never happens with the buttercream frosted cakes, good as they are. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

The change of service and the fact that you can’t walk in and buy a cupcake is very disappointing. I have to pre-order on my phone?!  What?! I was recently with family and kids eating next door and my kids love Susie Cake cupcakes. I though I would surprise my kids and give them a treat. I walked to the store and read the sign on the door that they only take pre-orders now. Wow!  What a loss!  I’m not sure how this business model is going to work. They just lost a LOT of business this way. So many families walk around that shopping center and the fact you have to pull out your phone and do this prior is one more step that gives me time to pause and say “nope,” I don’t need that. Especially in a time when I’m trying to get my kids away from devices and they are wanting me to get on one. So, needless to say, I turned around that day very disappointed and went to Victoria Bakery and got the most delicious slice of carrot cake I’ve ever had!!  Yum, and that you Victoria Bakery. Looks like you have a new client.

I ordered red velvet cake through DoorDash to be delivered to a colleague for New Year’s celebration. The delivery was great, but the cake not so much. She said the cake was decent and the cream cheese frosting is good. I requested the writing on top the cake which they charged an extra $3.50. I’ve never been charged for the writing on the cake but, ok, it’s not a lot so whatever.  I wouldn’t have minded except that it is absolutely hideous, so amateur looking, way worse than what my 12yr old daughter could have done, not at all bakery quality. I’m so embarrassed that this was a gift and sent an apology. So disappointed...:

Hands down the BEST bakery and dessert ever. I used Susie's for my wedding cake and assorted dessert station and everyone raved how amazing the mini cupcakes, lemon bars, whoopie pies, cookies and coconut cake was! My favorite Susie's treats are the coconut cake and lemon bars!  Was this review

Nice people work here. SusieCakes is hit or miss in my opinion. If you are looking for an overly sweet diabetic coma inducing, hydrogenated brain clogging destruction with some artificial color to top your system off this is definitely the place for you. Sometimes that's what you want and I get it. However, focus on flavor rather then just butter and sugar. Thumbs down for me.
