Enjoyed a ok dinner at paesanos. We only had 2 dishes I'm sure they have some delicious food but our pastas were a bit on the bland side. Staff was great and atmosphere was ok. Over all I would probably try it again but have had betterFood: 3/5
Italian food? False advertisement. Pizzas are a major disappointment. Margherita has 3-4 splashes of tomato, 2-3 spots where some kind of white cheese was laid down here and there, and random basil leaves. Dough is like a cracker. An offense to all Neapolitans like me out there.
I wish I had taken a photo of our GORGEOUS meals because they were straight out a magazine… but alas we were starving and it smelled *amazing*. The looks weren’t deceiving either; the Sicilian pizza was perfection: the crust was just the right amount of crispy vs. chewy with exactly the right ratio of toppings and texture, while my partner’s Carbonara is the best I have ever had. We chose this beautiful restaurant because we wanted something highly rated with semi-casual vibes for our first anniversary dinner and we chose the best option around, I’m sure of it. A stroll around town after our meal finished our night out, and I am only too happy to say that we will absolutely be back to relive this wonderful experience again. We send a thank you to Esther for her attentive service and advice on wines! Can’t wait to return.
Happened to go on a nice day and sit outside where we could hear music down the blook. All of the food was good and the waitstaff was friendly. Portion size is more normal, so if you are hungry, you probably won't have leftovers.
Excellent taste, very nice atmosphere. RecommendedFood: 5/5
I just recently went for my 51rst birthday. I chose this location because of a special moment and meal I shared there a year ago with my granddaughter and niece... so I decided, I wanted to share the moment / experience with the rest of my family. I must say I left disappointed..The environment was still very warm and cozy, the food was good but a tad bland on some dishes, the service for us was not a good experience. In fact she was asked to bring my b day ice cream when I are entire group was present and brought it when only 3 of is where at the table. Our drinks were barely refilled, we had to ask, we had to prebus our own table and move dirty plates to the end. We still tipped but had she gave us a dining out experience she would of tripled her money. There were only 8 of us and I expected more. In a declining economy family's I know don't get to go out much and the hospitality goes so far. Moving forward this will not be a place I recommend for now
The food was great, but once we got our food, the waitress never came back to see if we needed anything else.Food: 5/5
The food was absolutely amazing! I had the raspberry limeade mocktail, fried ravioli and spaghetti carbonara. My friend also ordered the Margherita pizza and loved it. The service was a little slow, but they told us ahead of time that they were busy. It was quiet and the servers were friendly.
NOT the place for a family of 4. We called ahead and were told we could not book a reservation. We walked in right behind another family and we wished we had their experience the whole time we were there. They were seated immediately and we were given a 30 minute wait. While waiting we noticed 3 different tables were empty. They remained that way until the tables next to each of them emptied then they were rearranged to become availavle for groups that had made reservations. When we asked, we were told they do make reservations but not for a party of 4. We were later seated at the table next to the family that walked into the restaurant just in front of us. While we waited for our waitress to take our order, they received their food, ate, said goodbye to us, and left. After placing our order, we watched as every other table in the restaurant ordered, received their food, and ate. Two of the large parties with reservations that arrived after we were seated received their food well before us. One table that really bothered my family arrived to the restaurant over an hour after we did. They were not seated until after we placed our order and they received their food before us. When we finally received our order and it was wrong. We ordered one vanilla martini and received an "absolute" martini and we had to ask our waitress to remove our salad from the bill because we never received it. We noticed when she stsrted typing on the screen there was never a salad on our order to remove. I never complain to a business. I usually just never go back if i have a bad experience. But, as we were leaving one of the other waitresses, not ours, took it upon herself to stop me and point out the manager. I was pretty sure she noticed our experience. My family was over the whole thing and went to the car while I waited to talk to him for a few minutes. I briefly explained our 2 1/2 hour experience to him. He responded with, "I'm sorry that happened to you." and we left. Overall, the experience was so bad that by the time the food came, nobody cared anymore. In an effort to give them every benefit of the doubt, I would not recommend this place for families. They prioritized large groups over us and they also had space available for an individual or a couple adults to buy drinks at the bar. Maybe give it a try if you have a group large enough for them to care about or if you just want to sit at the bar.
Restaurant mistakenly made us two gluten free pizzas, which we did not order. Then the staff proceeded to argue with us even though our email confirmation also did not specify gluten free pizzas and we politely requested a refund. The staff finally offered to remake the pizzas in a hurry, which resulted in burnt pizzas with very sparse toppings.
