Description

The Police Athletic League (PAL) is a registered non-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to providing affordable after school, summer & athletic opportunities to more than 500 Tampa Bay youth. PAL has partnered with the Tampa Police Department to provide a safe, healthy environment for our community’s children and teens. PAL’s partnership with the police department provides mentorship as well as safety and crime prevention programs. In addition, PAL has partnered with many other community organizations to provide athletic, educational & recreational development

Mission

To provide programs to children within our community -- to serve as a crime prevention enterprise, specifically targeting the prevention of juvenile crime through education and building self esteem through team sports.

PAL is awesome! My kids go there for summer break, after-school care, and soccer. All the coaches are amazing!!!
My heart breaks for my daughter. I have tried for two years to put her in this program and everytime they tell me its full. I called in June to ask about it and they told me to sign up next month was their words. I don't know why signing up is so complicated because I went on the PAL website and didn't find it. I dont know why they would make it so complicated to sign your child up. This is so sad but I guess only certain people have luck and somehow are able to apply. I feel like ilI failed my child I have tried so hard to sign her up and everytime I get the run around. Noone told me that the sign up doesn't appear on the pal website I didnt know you had to go to parks and recreation to sign up. Leaving kids out of something is so sad. Noones child should be left out.
My great nephew is playing for the Junior Buccaneers 12 & under team. The grounds are well kept & all the coaches really are talented.
Great place for kids to play sports. Parents very respectful of other children competing against their kids.
Why is the website non informational , there are no dates no links no anything to see what's coming up like Youth flag football and things of that nature . The Website is pointless and when u call no one knows when anything will be happening
Wonderful Staff they are friendly and helpful. The facility and bathrooms are spotless. I highly recommend the pickle ball experience. It’s indoors . They provide the equipment. My friends and I play pickleball there every Thursday morning at 9:00. Please join us. No waiting in line. There are two courts. They also offer pickle ball on Tuesdays. Evelyn Greenfield
Great football camp!! The guys who made this possible are unsung heros. Keep up the great work! These kids are lucky to have you all helping shape their lives!
Best staff I have come across when it comes to daycare. Many activities for the kids. My son doesn't enjoy playing outside but when he is there he usually can't get enough. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the place or the staff. Well I guess they could invite me to play some ping pong lol. LOVE THUS PLACE
this was the best camp i’ve ever attended & im so glad i was able to be apart of it. i used to go by ruby, i’m 20 now, my dad used to pay for me to go to this camp and i made so many friendships and learned so many life lessons, now that i look back. my dad has since recently passed away but i’m so grateful i was able to attend this camp because of him. it’s amazing what they do here. i truly had a great experience.
Not much lighting at night, no restrooms if you were watching a game, and watch out for the fire ants!!
