Lisa is the owner of the Palm Springs Lymphedema Center and has actively practiced as a Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP) and massage therapist since 1993 with special interest in the Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) technique. She has received training in the Vodder method of manual lymph drainage and was also trained by Ramona Moody French and Elizabeth Rubin. Her experience is with lymphedema disease, edema in general, pre- and post-surgery massage, cosmetic surgery and more.
Her experience working with clients has made her realize how important body movement is to Lymph movement and overall health. Her search for a low or non impact movement modality led her to become a certified trainer in the GYROTONIC expansion system. She has found it to be the perfect movement modality to move the Lymphatic system and other stagnation out of the body. The Gyrotonic method is the base for movement sessions used at the office. Teaching and spa development have also been a part of her career in the holistic health field. She has traveled extensively in Southeast Asia, including Bali, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Nepal. Researching healing and styles of bodywork. Her passion and mission is to provide compassionate care and resources for clients with Lymphatic issues.
