Don't do it!! The food inedible. The care is subpar! The social worker is the rudest person I have ever met. If you ask the most basic question she literally sighs and rolls her eyes. Sorry that the care of my relative is an inconvenience to you. They lost my relatives hearing aids so that's another expense. The physical therapist, Josh, Great but get outta there!!!! I honestly can not believe this place isn't shut down. This is such a sad place.

The wound care is great, the wound care specialist is the very best. Everyone is great here.

My wife recently stayed here after fracturing her hip and quickly realized that we had to get her out as soon as possible. Very poor patient care and slow to get anything done. Had to ask for help multiple times to find anyone that could help. COVID protocols were not followed by the staff and could be seen with their masks offer daughter call it the nursing home from hell Stay away!!

Palm Springs Health Care was not my first choice for my 91 year old mother for rehabilitation after she broke her hip. Preferred facilities were full to capacity and COVID protocols did not provide me an opportunity to visit this facility prior to her stay. The physical and occupational therapists were excellent and provided my mother with great rehabilitation. These therapists are not employees of the facility and are contracted out. My biggest complaint is the total unprofessionalism and incompetence of the Social Services staff. This individual does not belong in a position where she works with the elderly. She never once introduced herself to my mother when she entered the room and never explained anything.My phone calls were not returned and she lied about release date.

I'm sorry but, i have to say something.............Very poor patient care. CNA and nurses alike not doing a good job at all. There is one CNA there though who does a wonderful job. His name is Gabriel Avila. Really does take good care of his patients, very attentive. Hope they keep him for a long time so the other CNA/ nursing staff can learn from him.They need good people like him there to take care of our loved ones and get rid of those who don't do their job properly, are incompetent and lazy.

I have to write an updated review for these guys! My mom was assigned this rehabilitation center after a two week stay in the hospital due to ailing health. I was devastated because all I could find were negative reviews. I called the discharge planner at the hospital and begged for him to find somewhere else. Due to my mom leaving hospitals and rehabilitation centers against medical advice in the past, her options were slim...Palm Springs Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center was it! I crossed my fingers and didn't tell my mom about the negative reviews. Her first night there she was raving about the food, she liked her room, the staff was friendly. I couldn't believe it! She's now been there around four weeks and although she misses home, she has really taken a liking to the place. She gets involved in the many activities they offer, has made friends, gotten her hair cut and nails done. She gets transport to and from her doctors office and physical therapy at the center. I am just very impressed! I went to visit her in person too and the place is great! It's fairly large, in the heart of Palm Springs and everyone I dealt with was fabulous! I want to highlight especially the organizer, Elizabeth and her assistant, Jamie. these two women were so helpful to me and my mom recently when I went out to sign Power of Attorney forms. They actually got all the forms for me, gave me the number to a reliable notary and even stood in as witnesses for my mom at signing. I hope someone who is considering this place for themselves or a loved one comes across my positive review instead of any of the negative ones that I did. This is a wonderful place! And I can't tell you how many times my mom raved about the food! Made me want to have dinner right there with her! Most importantly, it's clean, safe, they will communicate with you, and they are kind! A big five stars! Thank you!!!

Horrible service. Been calling and phone just rings and rings and no one ever answers. They have a covid breakout and are on lockdown for 10 to 14 days. Their story is that 2 employees got covid and are no longer working there. My father in law is here temporarily and it's been nothing but a headache. So may people here but their attention to patients is the worst.

I visited my family member several times at this facility, while she was recovering from knee surgery. The front desk staff and nurses were always friendly and attentive. Most importantly, my mother-in-law was comfortable and happy with the care she received.

Our mom spent 3 1/2 weeks in this facility., and we were very pleased with the type of care she received. She had a great team of physical therapist and nurses that gave her the medical care she needed. The entire staff was very knowledgeable, compassionate and professional. Thank you Sharlene Lower
