Really nice park. Quiet and lots of shade. Picnic areas, grills, basketball court and baseball field. Playground: All new equipment and a great spring foam surface. Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome, please just pick up after them. Picnic area: Multiple picnic areas and grills around.
It's a pretty nice park right next to a school I believe. Neighborhood friendly Safe place to bring the kids I love it because i dont have to worry about speeding cars like other big parks. This Park is located in the neighborhood. No restrooms tho. Only complaint.
Nice big trees, combed sand playground, sturdy & 10'-for-real bball rims full court, baseball diamond, and quiet besides US60 noise.
Five stars when not irrigating, It is a very nice small- medium sized park. Beautiful shade trees and birds singing in them. Older parks have mature trees as a plus. No whales in rhe irrigation areas. Parking is on street and only on the park side. Playground as new and cheerful colors. Soft ball field in decent shape with sprinkler for infield. Very nice basketball court with lighting. One Ramada plus cement and metal picnic tables. Grills. Decent amount of park benches. Very clean. Well maintained. No restrooms. Designated handicapped parking space with cement ramp.
A great magical park accessible by a pedestrian bridge over the 60. Grandkids love it. We park on the North side of the 60 on College and walk up and over the bridge to descend down into the park. The play ground is excellent, all kinds of shaded bridges and teeter totters, spinning kinds of things, swings, etc. all on a really cushy base so if you fall, you'll just bounce back up. Zero bathrooms though. That's probably why reviews say the place smells like pee. I mean: what do you do when a 3 year old has to potty? Tempe really needs to consider adding a bathroom here.
This is a lovely little community park. I enjoy walking my dogs here. There's a baseball field, where you can watch people play and practice. There is also a simple basketball court, where people shoot around. Pick-up games are a rarity here. Lastly, the playground was updated a couple of years back, and is still in great condition. Overall, this is a well utilized, clean, community park.
This place is amazing!!! Wow, the playground selection for children is expansive and they have it grouped by age group so I knew what area was right for the kid I was with or if I needed to be more attentive since it was above her age group - super helpful since I was nanny for a child and wasn't sure if she could handle certain structures. I had fun with her and she ran off all her energy and went home to crash out. Definitely recommend.
Great neighborhood park. Has a lighted basketball court, plus water fountain for humans and dogs. No bathroom. The baseball field is kept in good condition. The play area is new and shaded.
Overall this is a great place to play basketball late at night. There’s lots of traffic along the walking/biking trails with minimal noise pollution from the 60. The nets on the court are very outdated and the lines on the basketball court show are ridiculously crooked. Their irrigation system is terrible and floods the grass in the park often, but the playground for the kids has been well kept
Pros -It has sports fields that are nicely spaced out: A nice open basketball court, a fenced in dirt diamond for playing softball that comes included with mini stadium seating. -The softball field seating is shaded by trees. Cons -I didn't care too much for the concrete picnic tables. A bit too cold to sit on in the winter. -There's really just one small sidewalk that takes you the basketball and softball field and then the playground. Not much walking you can do at this park.
