This company was one of the best company’s I could have ever worked with from my sales person Bernard on down to finance and the rest of the crew they were excellent and made sure I didn’t leave unhappy I recommend everyone to them they will make it happen!!! 10/10 and I love my 2022!!!
Mike was my salesman, and he was super amazing, super transparent through the entire transaction. I genuinely felt that he wanted what was best for me. Dalton, the finance manager was also amazing as well. The entire staff there was very friendly and the deal that was given to me was very reasonable. If not better than most places. I had such a great experience at the dealership, that me and my wife are going back to get her a vehicle here.
EDIT: I had previously given Palmer's Hyundai 1 Star due to our experience with the service department in May-June of 2023. I have adjusted my review to 3 Stars, as the service department finished our repairs earlier than originally promised. Context: My wife's Hyundai Tucson fell victim to the class-action rod bearing recall and required a new engine. On 5/14/23, Palmer's quoted us 16 weeks to have the car back in working order. This was a recall, so all repairs were free to us. What happened: As would many in my shoes, I placed a quick call to Palmer's every 7-10 days to check on the status of my wife's vehicle. The service departments communications were definitely subpar, and I got passed around a lot. They made several promises that were not kept having the car back by 6/30, 7/6, 7/14, 7/25 but we finally got the car back on 8/2. Although they made 4 unkept promises, we still received the car back in 11-1/2 weeks, much quicker than the quoted 16 weeks. The car is back in good working order, however Palmer's did not reinstall the plastic engine cover. When I called and asked if I could come pick it up, they told me they could not find it. If we had received the engine cover back I would have edited this review to 4 stars. I can NOT speak to credibility of the sales or financing departments, as I have not purchased a vehicle here. This review is only reflective of the service department.
Have bought alot vehicles from Palmers Hyundai over the years was hoping to get one of two vehicles a good secondary car for a affordable price, but it just didn't work out I suppose ?? Was looking forward to buying that 2014 Civic but the price didn't fit into my budget. But good cars there. Used car sales Mgr. Edward is great, he'll help you if he can. Dalton one of the new finance managers is really cool too.
I Just want to say John W my salesman helped me out with a tuff decision on getting a car that I can be comfortable in. It wasn't ready to go and he put me in a loaner not Just any one, a Car that wouldn't be uncomfortable. He went above and beyond to help me. My Key is a little loose but promises me He will take care of it Monday..

I've been talked down to, I've been lied to, and I've had a horrible experience with the whole buying process and the service department. I took my car in for a maintenance oil change, and as I was driving off the lot, my car started puttering. Puttered until the check engine light came on three days later. The car warning system came on and told me to pull over safely before the car shut down. I took it in and they came to the conclusion it was "bad gas" put in my car by me. My car was completely fine before i took it in for an oil change and on the same tank of gas. So now I have to pay to fix that even though my car is 6 months old and has less than 10,000 miles on it and is still under warranty. I wouldn't recommend going here if you're a single female. They will take advantage of you. I know the world is recuperating from a pandemic, but do better hyundai.
The man with the Beard is the man that can. He goes above and beyond to get you in the vehicle that suits and pleases you. My 2 sons got vehicles 2 weeks apart we are very satisfied with the cars, the service and especially with the bearded man.
Run, don’t walk, away from these people! They should be ashamed of how they treat clients. Oh, I read the reviews from people who had a great buying experience. But, you ARE buying a Hyundai, and these folks are gladly taking your money for your new or used car. Well, wait until you need service! Those same lovely folks who sold you a car will not be of any help to you. Forget your warrranty or maintenance plans. They will avoid your calls, outright lie to you, talk down to you, SAY they did work on your car, and they did nothing. Our car sat at Palmers for FOUR MONTHS and nothing was done to it. They kept jacking us around saying they weren’t sure what the warranty covered yeah, most moronic excuse ever, lie that they ARE working on the car and you ride by and it’s in the same place it’s been for TWO months, and then gaslight you that’s right—-I used that word because it’s true and tell you that you did something to your own car to cause it to have issues PLEASE! Do a Google search about all of the engine problems Hyundai has—-and yes, we know this from a previous Hyundai we owned—-the engine blew up THREE times. To add insult to injury, they offered NO courtesy car to us until we relentlessly pursued the issue. Who can go without a vehicle for four months if you are employed? Then, there’s the huge dent in the car that wasn’t there when we took it in. They didn’t care. Incidentally, we own a BMW, and when you bring your car in, they take pictures first thing, so if something happens at the dealership, they take responsibility. That did happen to us and BMW was incredibly responsible and courteous and fixed the car. See? THAT’s service. The manager Joe doesn’t return calls. He’s supposedly the new manager and right out of the gate, he’s less than impressive. He actually told us that some cars that needed service had spent a birthday meaning a year in the service lot. What in the heck is going on with that? Anyway, we decided to take our car to Allen Turner in Pensacola. If you want GREAT service and responsible folks, you will find it there. More than that, they make great deals when buying cars! At the time we took it from Palmer’s, nothing had been done. They wouldn’t even give us a print out of what they supposedly did to it because they did nothing. It doesn’t even show in Carfax that it was serviced there. All lies. Read the bad reviews folks. They aren’t making this up. Anyway, like I said, run as fast as you can. Oh, and I’m sure the owner will post under this review the same stupid response he has to others. Don’t bother. If you really cared, you’d have better people running your business. Call the National customer line if you need help, folks. Because, in the end, they just don’t care at Palmers. Update: We are not interested in talking to anyone at Palmer’s, as we are sure that a resolution made in good faith is not going to happen. Especially after the response to this review.
Great experience! Second new car purchase and once again this dealership had the vehicle we wanted and at a price point much better than our local dealers in southern MS. Stop by and tell Mike to hook you up.
