Me and my family signed a lease and we went to switch utilities to our name. We paid a $550 deposit for utility switch to our name at palmetto city hall on Friday. We Came home after 6 pm on Friday and the electricity and water is completely shut off and not working whereas it was on before we went and paid for the name switch. We Called the after hours emergency utility number listed which is Fulton county emergency services phone number. They said there is nothing they can do. I guess we have to go Friday Saturday Sunday and Monday this weekend without working electricity or water Monday is Columbus Day before we can go to city hall tuesday morning with the issue of not receiving the services for which we paid the deposit for. Hopefully they can fix the issue as soon as possible as I will now have to get my family a hotel until we have working electricity and water.
Shameful service. During the pandemic they got rid of any grace period and now with inflation, they're charging EXCESSIVE fees to families already struggling just to live. We got charged nearly $100 extra for the late and reactivation fee. Greedy people running this place.
They are so racist. From the mayor to the workers. Palmetto is no place for African American families. It's so segregated. They literally treat you with no respect. I'm so happy after three years I'm moving out of this racist town.
I like palmetto but I’ll moving just because of this company. This by far the WORST company I’ve had to deal with. I had to pay $550 deposit three years ago just to get my lights on. They are so money hungry it doesn’t make any sense. I HATE this company with a passion.
Not a good place for Renters. All utilities electricity, water, trash are paid to the City. They make their own rules. To get utilities, Renters have to first pay a security deposit. Homeowners do not. Payments are due on the 15th. If payment is not received by the 22nd, you are disconnected. If the power goes out in the middle of the night, you don't even know who to call.
Terrible service. These are people you cannot rely on to maintain your utility services.
Tammy is a rude clerk and uneducated make sure you don't pay with cash she can't count and it confuses her , please use a card and save yourself any trouble.
