Highly unprofessional work staff. They schedule me an appointment for 415. They even tell there's a 15 minute grace period. When I'm in there, A nurse sees me and motions the "neck chop" no movement to the front counter and she then tells me they have to reschedule, even though i called and let them know i may be a few minutes late. As I get into my truck and leave they are calling me to tell me to come back up stairs they will see me now. I'm sorry but highly unprofessional staff. I don't go to Dr's much. And thought I found a place I liked. Clearly I was wrong. Thanks for the unprofessional situation palmetto primary! I am a cash paying customer I do not have insurance. My money will go to a place that wants it.
The front desk is extremely rude, I am not sure if they relay message to provider or not. I tried to get help with getting medication and I felt like no one cared. I went weeks without my medications causing me complications. I had to go to another primary care who got the medication for me the same day. When I went to appointments I saw a PA there and I can understand why he left the practice . If you want good care avoid this place
My family & I just moved to Goose Creek, from Atlanta in September 2022. I chose Palmetto Primary as mine & my partner’s PCP. Love the office! It’s superbly decorated, clean, well lit, and the staff were all very pleasant! I was seen by Emily Thieme, FNP Family Nurse Practitioner. She was phenomenal! Excellent bedside manner, patient, kind, understanding, knowledgeable & funny! I would absolutely recommend this practice to a loved one.
Absolutely horrible doctors office. No one answers the phone. I had to call 7 times to set up an appointment. I am going on 2 weeks of them saying my perception was sent to the pharmacy without it ever being sent. Don't waste your time here, I will be finding a new doctors office.
I am extremely upset with how this place has turned out. It used to be a well oiled machine working efficiently. Now people dont answer the phone, they dont do anything that you ask or they say they will do. I been waiting over a month to get my information from them faxed over to get my ordered filled and was told today after been calling for hours that I need to get the fax number and call them back. If you said you already faxed them wh do I need to do your job for you. Extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. They call out your information and say your insurance out loud. It used to be a nice place been coming here for 9 years just to be experience this type of behavior. Do not recommend
It's unbelievable how incompetent Amy Smith and her entire staff are! How did she become a doctor!????????????? RUN DON'T WALK! She constantly messes up my controlled substance medicationwhich can't be fixed until the next month by the way for the last 4 months in a row! They've messed up my meds so many times that they're afraid to call me back now and HAVEN'T! I've submitted a formal complaint and I'm going even further than that. I've had it with this place and these "people". I have never seen such a level of screw ups go unpunished. It's just a matter of time.
I try to be a patient person, but I was a former patient several years ago and moved back this year and hoped that they would be as good as before. They aren't. Everyone seems not to want to be there, and the lady at the front desk seems nice at first but always calls me down on not being 15 minutes early or having to cancel an appointment or some other silly thing. The latest thing trying to get a prescription filled. It has taken a week. They had renewed it before and my bottle had the correct dosage but their record had the incorrect dosage. I called back to have them correct it before sending. I got on their portal and sent two prescription refill requests and a message to the doctor. I just noticed that the website says to allow 3-days before a response is given. So I have called the office for the second time and hope to get an answer. I am changing doctors but want to warn everyone. I had two friends tell me they had already left. I had a good experience a few years ago but Palmetto Primary Care is not a good provider any more.
Waited 4 months for my prescription before they finally sent a weirdly worded message about me needing to find a new doctor's office.
I have been going to this practice for approximately 20 years and have seen it go downhill. The turnover is horrible. I don’t even try to learn the PA’s name because I know they won’t stay there. They used to care about your health, but now it’s all about the money. The staff never seems to be happy and most of the time they are rude. I’m leaving this place and I don’t recommend it.
I love this office!! I have been seeing Emily for the past 3 months. I feel so comfortable with her and she is very helpful to me. I am so glad I found a place with people who actually care!
