Awesome people that helped my family since the first week of dark days and nights. We appreciate their friendship and help. *_*ᴗ
They are there to help those who truly want a help up and not just a hand out. I'm glad they made the change to a place that will change lives. I applaud you and pray Panama City will get behind you and help make your new endeavor really God centered and successful.
They are super friendly and will not judge you.
The people that volunteer here are a God send!!! Always smiling and super friendly!!!! I hope anyone that sees this will help contribute or if they are hungry please stop by there at 4pm sharp! This place has gotten me through some really hard times.
Are they closed for business. It is a shame considering that other shelter is judgemental and give drug tests. THC is the only thing they can detect.
I was down on my luck got stranded in Florida originally from Kentucky the shelter fed me some of the best food I've ever eaten shrimp lobster you name it they were very kind and courteous they got me work daily and help me get my food stamps I have nothing but good to say for the workers that have worked at this shelter. And the view isn't so bad either there's always good looking ladies walking up and down the street some may come with a price tag but hey that's Panama City..
Tried to donate 5 garbage bags of men's clothes. Site was closed. Tried to take it to the womens shelder on 11th street and it was no longer there. To bad cause they were good clothes. You might consider putting up an address that works.
Yesterday, I was passing through downtown Panama City remembering some old times when I stayed and ate at the mission when I was unemployed and homeless in 2011 and 2012 and I also stayed there briefly in 2014. It's sad that it looks all abandoned now considering that before, there were lots of people. The picture with me in it is of me on November 13th, 2011 and the other one is what that same spot looks like now in November of 2021. Maybe they can get back on their feet soon. May God bless then in their efforts to help the homeless.
So nice and so helpful
I was sent here to get help to get off dope. I have been on it bad since February. I don't want it anymore. I was sent here and I signed up for their recovery program and this is my first day sober and they never told me the rules or anything so when they had chapel I was there for it but I couldn't stay awake because I am so exhausted and overwhelmed from this lifestyle. I didn't mean to fall asleep I just needed the rest so bad. Some man pulled me out and made a spectacle out of me and told me to get off the property.
