This is some of the best authentic pizza I’ve ever had! It comes close to the pizza I’ve had in Chicago! If you love authentically prepped and cooked Italian good, this is it! The Alfredo melts in your mouth. The salad is fresh with delicious obviously made from scratch dressing. Atmosphere? Are you coming for great service and food or just for looks? It’s a sweet home town Italian restaurant. It’s definitely a hidden gem! Thank you guys for amazing food and service!
So I don't understand why I was charged double for a meal the lunch menu for spaghetti was 7.25 but instead I was charged 8.50 plus.50 more for a meatball. O and I have the menu and the receipt. After all the bragging about how great this place was. Never again will I eat at this place. I asked to see the owner but how convenient he is not here. One lost customer. O and here is my receipt and the menu.
Lunch special every day for $6..95 inc salad, entre and drink. Day I went was baked ziti and it was hot and cheesy! Nice sauce. Hot roll. Fast friendly service and parking right outside. Have it a 4 only because there is no coffee! I love coffee so ...waitress did offer to make some but told me there was no milk or creamer which I need for coffee. I'll be back!
We stopped in for an early supper Saturday after a basketball tournament in Gardendale. I ordered the baked lasagna and my daughter ordered a cheese pizza. After scarfing down some cheese bread really good and my sales were shocked at the size of the pizza. Food was really good and of course we had to get to go boxes. Friend of mine showed me this great little place before the Garth Brooks concert in Birmingham this summer. We live a little over 1.5 hours away and if we are in the area we try to stop by for a great meal!
I was not impressed by the food or atmosphere. The calzone was okay, the Buffalo chicken pizza had little to no Buffalo sauce and the dining room was warmer than it was outside. We will try this resteraunt one more time and I hope whatever we try is better.Food: 2/5
It was hot in there because there seems to be no AC, only fans. Service was slow, but forgivable. Bread shrunk in size. But still yummy The marinara is a bit thin and sweet. If you have a sensitive stomach when it comes to basil or cilantro, I'd order something else. Price is very reasonable.
Our favorite local eat-out! They make their own pizza/spaghetti sauce daily and fresh bread dough for rolls and pizza crust too! THIS sets them apart from their competition. Serving sizes will send you home with plenty for yet another meal…We very much appreciate that. Whatever they lack on atmosphere very old seating furniture they COMPLETELY make up for in the quality of the food.
We are regulars here, at least once a week. I always get the lasagna… it’s perfect! My wife tries different things they are always good. They are also less expensive than any other decent restaurant in town. Give them a try. I think you’ll love them as much as we do!Recommended dishesBaked Lasagna Salad & Breadsticks, Spaghetti and Meatballs
Baked lasagna, 3 meat calzone and an antipasto salad was all very tasty as expected. Large portions for lunch with enough leftover to take home for supper too. If you're looking for Italian food from a family owned business, this is the one
Food was honestly made with fresh ingredients, the staff took care of us like family, and the interior was welcoming and clean. Highly recommend for a great experience!Food: 5/5
