The service: Quick, and fantastic The atmosphere: Dining in a cement bunker The food: I had the American BBQ Chicken, with potato and onion rings. Verdict: I will never eat here again. Wife had Mongolian beef and white rice with pot stickers. She will likely eat here again, but will not have the beef again. The dishes are huge so if you don’t have an appetite, don’t eat here. And don’t try the “American” food, it’s bland and not worth your time. Very unfortunate Update: my wife states “the beef tastes cornstarchy and the meat is chewy not melt in your mouth like a good beef meal. Compensating for flavor and quality by increasing helping size is not the way to go! Lower the size of the dish and increase its quality and flavor. You’ll get more customers” We paid 75 for a meal neither of us could eat. Dissatisfied!!
This place is a hidden gem. The family that owns and runs the place are the most friendly and nicest people! The food is excellent and they give you tons of it, making it a great value. We went on a Friday night, and were immediately seated. No wait, and immediate service, with a genuine smile. Good selection of Chinese food, but also an excellent selection of American food too. If you love good food, with a friendly, treat you like family, type vibe, then you will love it. We will definitely be back, probably quite a bit.
Sweet and sour, cashew chicken and shrimp meal for 2. Fair price, great service from a 10 year old daughter of the owner. She could teach most other servers the right way to take care of customers. Food was good. I would do this again.Food: 5/5
Five stars for quality and presentation. We were seated quickly. The food was served in a very timely manner and they served large portions. We both took home doggie boxes. Delicious!!Food: 5/5
The old TBone appears to be dying… I miss the good old days of excellent food, service & friends! The food we ordered out for our party was mostly TERRIBLE and with some TOTALLY NOT EDIBLE!! Check the wonton pictures… We had to break most of the rock hard over-cooked wontons with pliers… and only found one tiny bit to eat in one of the 3 boxes!!! Most of the $100+ food ended up in the trash after everyone took a tatse or two and said No Thanks! Everyone said TBone Never Again!! SAD DAY!
Had some fairly high hopes for this restaurant because some people I know really love it, and I have a friend who's family owns the place. As usual with most Chinese restaurants the portions were amazing, and unlike some other Chinese restaurants the service was really fast. That's about where the good things stop though, because I think the food has a serious freshness issue. We ordered 12 wontons, dinner B That includes chicken & broccoli and sweet and sour pork with ham fried rice and an egg roll, and dinner E which includes their three flavor Kung Pao chicken and lemon chicken with ham fried rice and fried shrimp. The egg drop soup that came with the dinner was actually really good and is my wife's favorite egg drop soup out of all the when she's had because she really doesn't like that soup. But because it has noodles and vegetables in it it was awesome. Then the wontons came and they were pretty good, but something was off about the cream cheese filling that didn't taste quite right to me and I think it could use another look at perfecting the filling. Then when the main course came, the shrimp tasted dirty like the oil needed to be changed and the cocktail sauce looked more like a chunky salsa. Needless to say I had a hard time eating that. The lemon chicken was very sweet, like the sauce was a melted down lemon candy. That might be good for some people, but it's not what I expected. The Kung Pao chicken was average, lots of vegetables and nuts. The Kung Pao Chicken could certainly use more peppers to really help bring out more flavor rather than relying on soy sauce. The ham fried rice was fairly dry, but because there was a decent amount of sauce with my proteins I didn't have too many complaints about it, but my wife struggled with the dryness of it. The chicken and broccoli was hard to put down because the chicken was woody and flavored with seemingly what looked to be a chicken broth sauce, so it wasn't that flavorful. And then the sweet and sour pork was tough and difficult to chew. Overall it's okay, but I think with fresher ingredients and more flavor it could be even better. I will say though that their food reheated pretty nicely with sriracha sauce dumped all over it!
Absolutely horrendous and disgusting. With chains like panda express and P.F. chang's that exist, it is insulting that there can be Chinese food this bad. First let's start with the overall atmosphere and menu. The restaurant was disgusting with dirty tables, old food on the floor, and old torn up chairs. There are Christmas decorations everyone and spiderwebs. The workers were just sitting at the bar on their phones, so it is no surprise it was so dirty. T-bone is advertised as a American Chinese fusion, but there is nothing on the menu that blends these two together. It's just the fact that the two options are there. So fundamentally there is an issue here. The eggs drop soup was foul, just look at the photo I attached. Would you want to eat that? It had the consistency of mucus and was bland. The corn in the was obviously from a can. When I got my meal it was just slopped on a plate with no care. The sweet and sour chicken tasted freezer burnt, the dipping sauce had a sour moldy taste, the rice was stale and old, and the cashew chicken had 0 flavor. No redeeming qualities at all and they should be ashamed they are charging people money for this. Absolutely disgusting. Usually abysmal restaurants like this will at least have a decent wait staff as the food is not their fault, but we had to beg our waitress for refills. It was a Saturday night and we were one of the two tables seated there at the restaurant. What could she possibly be doing? Obviously not cleaning or cooking. We should have asked for a refund.
From the outside looking in. It’s a little sketch. But the food is absolutely bomb. We go there at least once a month. It’s our favorite Chinese place. You must try. Absolutely delicious.Food: 5/5
I really wanted to like this place! The portion size is excellent, and the staff was friendly, but the quality of the food was seriously lacking. The sweet and sour pork tasted freezer burned, and the chicken and broccoli tasted mucous-y. My son picked something from the American menu and whatever substance was on his mashed potatoes was definitely not gravy. Pretty gross food, unfortunately.
This is a Chinese restaurant, not a steakhouse. My party said the Chinese food was good. The decor is diner-style and hasn't been updated since the middle of the last century, which may appeal to some. There are no substitutions for food items. If it says fries, you can't substitute for onion rings, you get fries and have to order a side of onion rings.
