Visited this place today for an upcoming wedding ceremony I will be officiating in September. It's a nice beautiful place off the beaten path so to speak.
A beautiful place to visit. I'd love to stay forever . The owner is one of the most amazing men I've ever met. Very personable and always there when you need anything. People seem friendly and happy to be here. Fishing is really good as well. I'd recommend to anyone who wants to get back to the basics and forget about your trouble's to go and see what life is really about. Take care and enjoy your time there.
Great place to go when ya just want to get away and don't want to go very far.
Very peaceful campground. Mostly seasonal and some yearly but a nice getaway if your looking for somewhere quiet. No wifi and cell service spoty.Playground: YesPublic restrooms: YesOff-leash dog area: NoPicnic tables: NoBarbecue grills: No
I am not sure if this campground is public or private. My boyfriend and I went fishing after work at their pond thinking it was public. No signs saying otherwise. A women and man came shortly after sitting a little distance away just talking. Then approached us asking why we are here and if we are camping. We said no we live up the road just came to fish. They were very rude and kept being disrespectful when we said we would leave didn’t want a problem. We were told we are not welcome to come and fish. The women said “You brought this upon yourselves coming here” We did not know this was private property. We apologized but the “owners” were still very rude for no reason. We understand them being upset for us “trespassing” but again the rudeness and attitudes were not needed.
Serenity and blissful anytime any day. Tell them Tony sent you! You may see me there as well, ask me about shooting and gun care instructions or training. Great people there and friendly. Convenient stores near by. Bring a kayak or inflatable boat, fishing will also be fun. Enjoy this paradise year round. Tents welcomed. Hiking the 100+ acres and beyond will be a great day with nature. Target practice? Safely at range in back bring own target sheets or 2 liter water bottle. Dive right in or swim across! Maybe just relax and enjoy the sun and stars at night. Camp at your own pleasure with your own supplies. Call for low prices or as to speak to me. Tony.
Gorgeous year round especially fall foliage! The most relaxing and peaceful place I've enjoyed. Everyone is so nice and friendly. Mr Chase the Mayor was so hospitable. Truly a bucket list location!
Stopped for a night but stayed for 3. Everyone was incredibly friendly and invited me over to their sites for football and food, even had one couple bring over some of their firewood for me. Nice and quiet and very relaxing!
Promised me yrround site, pd. for year, told to leave before even lit fire. Neighbors hate kids, didn't even spend more than 3 hrs there in mo. L9st hundreds in material, delivery, and labor to set up home. I guess if you are from NY you get your own way according to owner.
The closest far away place to go when you want to get away from everyday life , the name says it all....
