Not a safe venue for music festivals. Electricity not properly grounded, resulting in people getting zapped. No secondary evacuation route. No lifeguard mandate. Avoid. Nice showers though.
one of my favorite campgrounds, love coming here to attend festivals!
Used to be the best campground in nj now it's only used for festivals:
Rolled up and it said $5 dollar parking even though the website said free. The girl taking money told me “ it says $5 on Facebook”, I don’t have Facebook, so the website should have been updated. Wouldn’t consider 6 food trucks to be a fest. Tower Dogs were ok but pricey. The Seafood truck’s coconut shrimp was hands down the best thing there and reasonable. Hot chocolate stand was good and were very friendly. Band was terrible but sound was decent, the crowd who attended were laid back and diverse. Will not return to any event here. Big disappointment.
Pretty location next to a lake but campers were allowed to play extremely loud music until 4am and the campground staff did absolutely nothing to stop it despite multiple people complaining. I will never go back to this campsite knowing that they don’t enforce the rules which inadvertently disrespected the other campers.
What can be said about Paradise lakes, there's been so many great experiences that we've all shared here together. IYKYK; PARADISE LAKES CAMPGROUND IS RUN BY SOME OF THE FRIENDLIEST PEOPLE IT IS A BEAUTIFUL SPACE WITH A NATURAL SERENE ENVIRONMENT DAY AND NIGHT, sorry caps lock. I've been here many times for many events and just for personal exploration I've enjoyed it every single time even if the manager of the events were not up to par the environment and setting always made up for it.
Fall Foodie Fest Absolutely Super Fantastic!
I would NOT support this establishment because of the great environmental damage they do to Wharton State Forest. The owner, Scott Miller has blocked state roads and turned a large tract of Wharton State Forest into his own private estate. Boycott Paradise Lake Campground and Miller Farms.
Lot of land to explore yet many trailers seemed abandoned. I guess it could be cleaned up a little..
Awesome, music was amazing, the lights and camping was really cool how it was done. Only con was it was a little expensive as we got there late Saturday night and we weren't really shown where to park and still had to pay for full day pass. But we got there late so that parts on us. All and all this festi had a really cool feel.
