We had such a great experience at Paradise Food! I believe it was the owner that took care of us and she was so kind and attentive. The restaurant is clean and the food is delicious!! My husband and I were told about their specialty drink, the “party pineapple” so we gave it a try and WOW!!! You have to order one - and we will be back next time we’re in town! Yum!
Our family had supper and everything from the waterfront ambiance to the welcomes of the staff and home style Mexican food really made this place special. The Chef was a delight to us as she has the absolute best personality and made everyone feel comfortable like we were a part of her restaurant and family. Not many people are like her anymore and still have delicious homemade food! Everyone talked about how they enjoyed their food more than usual!
I can honestly say I was expecting less, I grew up going to m&m and it was replaced by paradise food, I thought it was going to be just another "authentic" restaurant. Little did I know the food was full of flavor and my heart was touched by the new owner and only employee of the restaurant. Her dream came true, overall it was a fantastic place to stop by and spend time in.
Fantastic food. Delicious like homemade Mexican - unbelievably good. Great service. I eat vegan and vegetarian and the vegetarian menu was vegan without the cheese and sour cream. I had the tacos that way they were outstanding. Homemade Corn tortillas
Tasty authentic Mexican food. We would always get their food from their food truck at the farmers markets and it was good so we aren't surprised their restaurant is just as good. If you're sick of the chain Mexican restaurants because they all taste the same, try out paradise foods.
Just had the Messy Platter seafood platter. So much food and the seasoning was excellent! Definitely recommend trying it. It lives up to its name because you have to shell it all yourself. But so fresh and so flavorful!
Paradise Food formerly the M & M restaurant located on the river when you come into Two Rivers from Manitowoc is my new favorite restaurant. A must stop every time I'm in the area. Every thing is fresh and the flavors are amazing! I've been there 3 times in the last month and every time find a new "favorite"! Be sure to try the 3 milk cake or at least take a piece home with you, delicious!.
This wonderful lady, opened this restaurant because of how many people loved her food and wanted her to, after enjoying it at the farmers market and wanted more. It's wasn't supposed to be anything more than a pick up and drop off togo style but she continued to cater to Costomers wants and made it into a diner style place. She's a wonderful person and even more an amazing cook, Good luck!!
I visited the truck since it was in Plymouth on Wednesday nights and it claims it has "authentic Mexican food". Please note I am Mexican and cook Mexican food but still like to go out and try other restaurants. Well I spent a bit more than I would at any Mexican restaurant in Milwaukee. And the food was not the best. I will explain the beans on my torta tasted very watered down and just tasted worse than canned refried beans which is said due to the hefty price tag of $10. My next issue is the salsa which all my food would have been better with the salsa verde or even a pico de gallo and the two salsas they provided was some of the worst salsa I have ever tasted. I either make my own or buy it from the store whether it was made by the store or canned. The final issue was my kids wanted to try the pineapple drink that they blend and can add mango to it so I bought one for $10 and well it tasted like pineapple only. I gave them two stars because the tacos were good but the food issues I had which made it not the best or even authentic Mexican for any concern of mine.
Food here is incredible! Authentic, affordable Mexican food made with fresh mostly local ingredients. Sulma, the owner, is wonderful. Her smile and warm welcomes are as stellar as the food! Highly recommended.
