When I work there for two weeks as cleaning staff. the staff made comments about my gender, and call me autistic. I not believe that it’s very healthy workplace. Also called me lazy after my foot spit up blood from their boots that I had to wear. Also they not have any standards of how much chemicals when mixing with water. So just keep that in mind.
As a late in life Lactose intolerant I have found all of their Lactose free cheeses to be excellent, well tolerated and closest to real cheese in flavour, texture and cooking use.
Purchased a large block of extra old cheddar, extremely disappointed. This cheese should be labeled old at best.
The absolute best marble cheddar I have ever had. My local Meridian is the only place I can buy it, but it is worth the trip. Great melted on omelets but exceptional as a snacking cheese. I would never have put marble on a charcuterie board before this, but now, it will always have Paradise Island marble.
I have been extremely sensitive to any dairy products since 2008, I have tried a few of the lactose free shredded cheese products , didn't care for them.. Every time I made my husband a grilled cheese sandwich, I was so jealous, cheese and crackers , lasagna, macaroni and cheese, etc. Then one day I noticed a red sign at the dairy dept. At my nearby IGA grocery store, it said new , lactose free old cheddar cheese, I had to try it. Well, I have to say , I LOVE IT SO MUCH , tastes as good , and I think even better than cracker barrel, or Armstrong cheeses , so I am now your new best customer , I posted on facebook as well , there are a lot of us out there who miss our cheese. It stays firm , yet melts in a sandwich , same as regular . And while my husband's regular cheese went moldy fast , yours is not , 2 weeks past the time my husband regular cheese went moldy. Today I had it for breakfast on dry toast , cheese sliced on top and then grilled tomato slices, soo good . Great work people ! But im not a fan of what IGA is charging , 9.99
There is no cheese available anywhere which compares with this cheese. I’m not sure why anyone with knowledge of cheese buys anything else. Your Swiss is authentic, your Old Cheddar is as it should be, flaky, sharp and delicious. Thank you.
I'm from the UK and actually lived near Cheddar, so I know what good cheese tastes like and to be honest I thought all Canadian cheese was terrible until I tried this! The Extra Old it sharp, crumbly and smooth all at the same time! So glad I can get it in my local Sobey's Supermarket!
Really tasty lactose free! I tried the extra old cheddar and it's terrific - even if it weren't lactose free, it still tastes better than most commercial brands. Full flavour, good texture, no dye - and it's from BC!
Our Family would like to comment on your Feta Cheese. We purchased the Feta Cheese, at our local Quality Foods store, in Parksville. The feta cheese was creamy and not dried out like some other brands we have tried, in the past. It also is good to support a local business. Thank you for producing and making great cheese. Sincerely, Mitchell Family
Best cheese I ever had so far! Canadian Swiss tastes slightly sweet and spicy, blending a total heaven in mouth with hot barley tea. Definitely gonna try more organic products from this brand.
