This restaurant is so good and I'm so sad it's closing soon!! Their Indian style Arancini is to die for, I love the creativeness of the food options, you just can't find anything like it anywhere else. Very sad to see it go and I hope the owner is able to reopen again in the future!Food: 5/5
I first went here with my partner during the Buffalo Pride Parade and tried their pride paradise cocktail, and we were so impressed with their service we came back for dinner later that week. Upon returning, once again the first thing we noticed was how they incredibly friendly all the staff were. I ordered the chickpea pizza and specified no cilantro, however the pizza brought out was instead very generous on the cilantro. I really hate being “that person,” so I picked off as much as I could and tried to eat it, but I just couldn’t enjoy it. Our waitress *did* write down no cilantro, there was just a miscommunication with the kitchen somewhere, no biggie, it happens. Everyone was SO apologetic, the pizza was remade and the experience more than made up for the minor mishap. Picture of the chickpea pizza without cilantro included, it was so good I ate two slices before thinking to take the pic so sorry about that lol. Seriously good food and drinks and incredible service, we’ll definitely be back!
First time to Parivaar. Started with a fantastic cocktail, Guava Fizz. So delicious! We had the bhartha bruschetta as a starter and chickpea pizza. Both were excellent. Lots we want to try on the menu so we’ll definitely be back. Staff was super friendly, highly recommend!
Such an amazing experience!!! The restaurant is still before it's grand opening, but that didn't take away from the experience! The food was delicious and simply beautiful, and all over it was just a joy. Fair prices as wellFood: 5/5
This was one of the best dining experiences on Elmwood that I've had! I went with my girlfriend for brunch, and the servers were very kind and attentive. We received several dishes, and all of them were great. The Pani Puri and Potato Bhungra were our favorite, both had flavorful zesty kick which we enjoyed. The Chicken Kashmiri was also amazing, but the flavors were a rich and and the serving size is just perfect. The Indian fusion restaurant itself is also very chic and cozy atmosphere. The ambience was great, dimmed lights and artistic decor. There are tons of great dining experiences in Buffalo but Parivaar was definitely a five star experience.
The FOOD is some of the BEST & MOST FLAVORFUL FOOD I've had in a looooong time!!! Everyone in our party of 6 THOROUGHLY ENJOYED their food AND drinks cocktails & mocktails!!! I ordered an Indian Ginger Mule, Mango Ginger wings, and Masala Fries with Garlic Aioli. Oh. my . GOSH!!! My drink was DELICIOUS! My wings were PERFECTLY CRISPY YET EXTREMELY SAUCY - it was like MAGIC! . The fries were CRISPY, perfectly seasoned, and the garlic aioli was the perfect dipping sauce! I can't wait to literally try everything on the menu!!! Also, our server Sarah gave us EXCEPTIONAL service!!! She was kind, funny, attentive, and pro-active! YOU couldn't ask for anything more!
I wanted to check out this new restaurant and went with my partner on their first day open of the week. It was no wait to grab a seat at the bar and our server came by fairly soon after we sat. It should be noted that they recently got approved for their liquor license, but did not have any alcohol in stock yet. We were informed it should be there by the weekend. I ordered the Kofta sub which came with fries and my partner had the chicken tikka sandwich with fries. you could upgrade to masala fries for two dollars but we figured we'd try just the classic way first. we both really love what we ordered in terms of taste and portion size and I would definitely try that sandwich I ordered again just because those meatballs were so delicious. Really the only not great thing for my visit was just how long it seemed to take for our order to come out, yes there was a larger party ahead of us, but it seemed that it still took a bit longer than I would've expected for just two sandwiches at the end of the day. It was almost an hour from walking in to food being delivered. it's a newer establishment so I expect things like this will improve with time.
I’m no foodie or top notch food reviewer but I had to leave a review because I’ve truly been daydreaming about the Kashmiri sauce all day!! We came in last night for dinner and we drove an hour to check this place out—split an order of the Tandoori wings, the Kashmiri chicken bowl and the Kashmiri pizza. It felt like having an authentic home cooked meal!! The sauce was mouth watering and the pizza was cooked to perfection—crispy but doughy all the same, droooooling writing about it. The ambiance was chic and clean. Definitely a spot to have a classy date. We even ended with her homemade mango cheesecake and when I say I’m wondering if she’ll cater our wedding one day, I mean it. We both tend to have sensitive stomachs but walked away feeling impeccably fed and energized, and I can’t remember the last time that’s happened when eating out. This is the home cooked experience downtown Buffalo deserves! Going to be a staple of our 716 visits for sure!!
I am not sure if 2 stars is a fair assessment, because I think ownership might have changed. Under the previous owner, the food was very tasty and would come out quick, however under new servers and management the food takes forever to come out and on top of that it just doesn’t have that taste. All in all call ahead to see if their main chef is there. I think 2/5 is unfair if it was under the previous owner but under the new owner I can’t imagine giving it any higher. Previously it used to be 4/5 and 5/5, I hope the food gets better again like it used to be. Also hope the servers start being more accommodating and paying attention.
Been seeking out new experiences with Indian cuisine and must say that I was blown away by the quality of the food here! Tried several items including the wings, the Rogan Josh sandwich and some appetizers. I must say what a great experience it was. The staff was so polite and even though it was busy, everyone who was working came by to help. Also, the food is 100% worth the price. The Rogan Josh lamb sandwich was one of the tastiest things I’ve ever tried : it was recommended to me by a friend to try with the raita sauce, and I would recommend that as well
