The Park Animal Hospital is the best animal hospital I prefer to go to with my beloved pets. The staff is so highly trained and professional and the service is what you would want and more. They treat your pet like it was their own. Their professional staff takes care of your needs right away and they keep you up-to-date on everything you need to know about your beloved pet. I was also very impressed with the facilities cleanliness. They have ample enough parking in front and if you have an emergency, they can always accommodate you one way or another.
The staff was wonderful and made us feel at home. I felt that they really cared for our animals and us. They weren't trying to get rich off of us like some other places. The dr's nurses were great with our animals and they did all of the treatment right in front of us, they didn't take them off to the back so we couldn't see what was happening. They explained everything that they were doing to us in layman's terms. They made us feel very at home and this was just our first visit. I've heard many good things about this place from a few people which is why I brought my own pets there. We have found a new home vet for our babies!
They have always been good to my dogs. They even called, sent flowers and a card when my best bud Cheveyo passed. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vet.
So now that my baby is no longer with us and I'm starting my grieving process part of that is going to be talking about the animal hospital that I first took him to that misdiagnosed him so nobody else goes there. Please stay away from Park Animal Hospital on 66th Street. The veterinarian had horrible bedside manner and seemed like she didn't really care what should have been my red flag to start off with. Long story short she misdiagnosed him which happens I understand that but she did it not once but twice. Not only that but I had a biopsy done on his neck that she was supposed to send out and she never did even though I got charged for it. After finding a new veterinarian we had realized that we spent months suppressing his immune system with the wrong medications. His symptoms were very mild in August when I originally took him there and unbeknownst to me the medication that she put him on made him very sick and created new symptoms that could have been completely avoided. We spent almost over a thousand dollars between vets and months of wasting time. Lessons Learned but in the long run due to this veterinarians actions things could have definitely been done differently and my baby might still be here. So I just want other people to be aware of their practice and the way they do things there. I hope that I can save somebody else from the heartache that I'm experiencing right now.
Took my friend in with her pet. I must say, if I have need for veterinary services, I would come here! Very clean and organized, staff is very kind and thorough, and the doctor was fantastic!
This is the best vet I’ve been to in years! My French Bulldog was accidentally pregnant. Her previous vet doesn’t deal with that at all. They did what was best for her and us. We didn’t know how long or anything and they did the X-ray to show that she had 6 pups and that they were small enough to not need a very expensive c section. They educated me and told me to call when they were born and if I needed anything. Proud to say we have 6 beautiful healthy pups and a healthy mom. They talked with me over the phone and even told me they were proud of me! I sent them pictures because they were as excited as we were. It means so much that they were there when we needed them most! I won’t go to any other vet ever again! Thank you all so much for taking care of my Sophie and her pups!
Dr. Scarpino and staff are beyond amazing!! Our family couldn’t thank them enough for caring for our puppy Gunner, without all of the time and love that was given to him he may not have made it through! They always let us come see our pup / call and get updates everyday anytime and answered every question we had, they did not disappoint one bit! I seriously couldn’t say thank you enough Gunner and our family felt all the love there & he is home now healing with us!! Thank you Park Animal Hospital!!
Extremely friendly and prompt I'm new to area had a emergency with my dog they got me in same day and kept me calm while I was freaking out waiting on test highly recommend them...update Zeus went down hill very fast after about 6 weeks they had done everything they could and where extremely kind and caring when it came to the day we had to Lay him to rest and relieve his suffering They Then sent us a rose in the days following a beautiful card and then a few days later we received another beautiful card with a rainbow bridge card as well they made everything so much easier I would highly highly recommend them for your babies they really do love the animals that come through their door and it shows if I ever decide after my grieving that I want to get another dog they definitely will be my vet For life
Very disappointed. I brought in my pregnant dog twice. Both times I had to wait an hour after my appointment was due. Front desk people were nice, but the doctor who attended us did the bare minimum. She barely checked my dog and the answers we asked were answered lamely and with no clear solution. Visit seemed rushed. We asked if my dogs X-rays could be sent to us. Its been more than a week and still nothing.
