Park Avenue Elementary

My sister’s, brother, and I attended this school in the early 70’s. I LOVED THAT SCHOOL! . It was a happy and FUN experience. One fond memory is, roller skating in circles to “Puff the magic Dragon” played over loud speakers after school, in the school yard … Metal skates with metal wheels that required a metal key to adjust them to your sneaker size I ALSO REMEMBER; Cudahy was rated one of the safest cities in the U.S. to live in at that time!

I want to start by saying 46 years ago I attend this beautiful school from kinder through 6 th grade. I have nothing but beautiful memories of all the wonderful teachers and friends I made their went onto.attend Nimitz and Bell High School. Those were the Good Old Days. How I would love to relive those days again!! Enjoy this school it’s a treasure. Thanks Cecilia Reynoso !

It was enjoyable I'm in middle school now

Where do I begin the school never has any functions or field trips... The teachers are under paid so they don't care about the kid's. They have the worse communication I called numerous time's to speak with my kid's teachers and they claim they never received any messages from me. As a parent I asked my daughter's teacher Ms.Quintinar a 6th grade teacher for a meeting and without speaking any word's she walks over to my daughter and physically started to look through her folder and decided to put my daughter down as well as telling me how to parent my daughter in front of her classmates. If I could choose no star's to rate the school it would be negative a star. Park ave is a joke and the principal is even worse.
