Not what it once was. Upon arriving you can tell the place is not maintained, we arrived for the first show of the day and the place was a mess, popcorn everywhere. Drink stations were out of order. Got to my seat and it wasn't plugged in so no reclining. I'm currently in my seat 15 minutes after show time and the movie hasn't started yet. Just skip this spot and go to one of many other options.
Good place to enjoy the movie and luxury seats . Easy to park your car.
Went here about 4 weeks ago. The AC wasn’t working and it was miserably hot in both the theater and the lobby. I added popcorn and drinks into the reservation online to be brought to the theater, and after 30 minutes past when it should have came I went to the front to get everything. I still had to wait in line then wait another 5 minutes for them to make more popcorn. In addition to the popcorn and the broken AC, the place was dirty and felt like it was barely hanging on. This was my first visit to this theater and it will absolutely be my last
Nice theaters, only been a couple of times. Three stars because the last time we went, had advanced purchased tickets, stopped and grabbed a beverage then was told the projector was broken in our theater. They were good about it and refunded us for the tickets but would have been great not to have made the trip or purchased a beverage.
7/15/23 We thought this place was going to be really good to see the latest mission impossible movie. Upon arriving it was really hot inside the lobby. It was just as bad in the theater. We bailed due to it being uncomfortable. The manager told us it was because they were a tier 3 theater, whatever that means, and their AC was out for the last 3 weeks. What gives?!?!! It’s North Carolina in July, people! On the plus side, they have a full bar, but not sure if they know how to make any drinks. I hope they get their act together.
I prefer to have access to movie theatre traditional yellow/butter salt, not regular table salt iodized. The last visit, there was trash, leftover cups, wrappers, trash down the entire row that I purchased 5 seats for screen 9. I went to ask for it to be removed, while the movie previews were still on. Literally, we had to remove the cups from the cup holders ourselves to actually use them, putting them on the floor. A guy/theatre attendant came in, stopped at our row, looked and kept going. Maybe short staffed, I do not know. Trashcans overflowing outside screen entrance. Mind you, whoever customer/audience was seated there last should have discarded their own trash properly period. People can be terrible lazy and inconsiderate. But that isn't anything new. Still rate the theatre well.
First time at this location. I was a bit disappointed. I go to the movies quite a bit and love to eat that good ole movie theater popcorn. Let me tell you the popcorn wasn't great at all. It seemed that they weren't cooked enough. Half of they were hard. The theater was too warm and I had on a skirt! I definitely will not be returning to this theater!
I tried to take my kid to his first movie. We went into a theater that hadn't been cleaned from the Friday night showing the day before. Popcorn was everywhere. After 30 minutes of the movie not showing, someone from a party with multiple adults went and told them the movie hadn't started. At 45 minutes to an hour, they put us in a slow-moving line to do refunds or grant tickets to a later showing. They told me they couldn't refund my money because I paid through Google Pay. They gave me vouchers instead. In a good faith effort, I tried to book the same movie for the next day. It was cancelled because of technical difficulties with the same theater, but the vouchers weren't refunded. I sent a message to ask for a refund for the vouchers. After a week, I've heard nothing. This was my first time attempting to go to an AMC. I definitely wouldn't suggest it. A waste of time and gas and money, if you don't run a chargeback like I did since Google did, in fact, route the charge to the theater even though I used them to pay. I highly suggest Alamo Drafthouse in Raleigh.
I love this location staff is always helpful and seating is plentiful. Not all the seats work properly. For instance D9 in theater seven. It doesn't recline or warm. Those seats should have a sign on them as they are non functioning. Everyone is helpful and cleaning measures are on point.
The chairs are great - recliners with heating, wow! I'm so disappointed with the concessions because they are so EXPENSIVE to me that I usually avoid getting any, but yesterday I decided to treat myself to nachos with my movie. They were sooo incredibly salty - both the chips AND the cheese - that my mouth was raw after eating maybe 10 chips dipped in the cheese. The chips were also a tad stale and the cheese was not a good flavor to me. Bummer.
