PPCA provides children a Christ-centered education that fosters development in mind, body, soul, and spirit. Soli Deo Gloria!
Park Place Christian Academy is an independent, college-preparatory school enrolling nearly 700 students in grades K3-12. PPCA is accredited by SACS/AdvancED and at the highest level (AA) by the Mississippi Association of Independent Schools (MAIS). We offer a low student-to-teacher ratio and employ Christian, certified teachers with over 40% of our K5 - 12th grade faculty and staff holding graduate degrees. PPCA also offers a Dyslexia and Resource Center for first and second grades, providing appropriate academic instruction for high-potential students with a primary diagnosis of dyslexia.
PPCA is a ministry of Park Place Baptist Church, yet offers a non-denominational environment in which Christian values and Biblical morals are taught and practiced in every aspect of school life. Our students are encouraged to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and each week spend time reading, studying, and memorizing scripture. Each school day at Park Place begins with our students being led in daily prayer. Here at PPCA, all students and faculty attend and participate in one of three weekly Chapel services, with our 7th-12th grade chapel service being led by our very own student Praise Band. 9th - 12th grade students are challenged to participate in community service through the ACTS Program (Announcing Christ Through Service) and to get involved with missions through the PPCA Missions Program.
Park Place offers opportunities and encourages our students to get involved outside of the classroom by participating in one of the many extracurricular activities offered to students. Some of those activities include Art, Beta Club, Chapel Band, Choral Music, Computer, Drama, Foreign Languages, National Honor Society, Robotics, Student Council, Winter Color Guard, Yearbook, and Youth Legislature. Students are also given the opportunity to participate and compete at a high level in baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, fast-pitch softball, football, golf, soccer, tennis, track & field, and archery coming 2016-2017.
Park Place Christian Academy's mission is to partner with parents to provide their children a Christ-centered education founded on the Bible which fosters spiritual development and instills the vision and practice of Christian excellence in academics, character, and service to others.
"Founded in 2000, PPCA is a ministry of Park Place Baptist Church, which strives to provide a distinctively Christian, academically rigorous education for students in grades K3-12.
