I was a patient there for three months rehabbing from a bad fall. Most of the staff was great and caring. Most of the time understaffed. Have been in three nursing facilities in the last five years. This was by far the best. The administrator, Susan Day was always there to help when they were short handed. If I ever need one again, this will be my choice.

It is inexcusable to leave an 86-year old patient waiting for almost TWO HOURS after she requested help getting in bed. This was her first evening in the facility, after being transferred from the hospital for a broken pelvis, an injury she sustained just four days ago. To make matters worse, she was left sitting in substantial PAIN as she waited, because her medications had not yet arrived from the pharmacy—over five hours after her arrival. I live out of state, but from what locals in the Morris area tell me, Park Pointe has a reputation for this kind of callous, agonizingly slow and unresponsive service. I work in the health care industry, and I can assure you if my company provided this kind of neglectful “care,” we’d be—justifiably and promptly—out of business. Although I hear the facility is clean and that’s the only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one, the care is definitely sub-par. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

Cnas  are way to busy on their phones to help residents.they vape by the cna station. And if you tell them someone’s calling for help they say” they always call for help” and continue on their phones.  And admin doesn’t do anything about it.

Very caring and professional staff.  The CNA's and nurse treated my father with care and respect.  Could not ask for better.
