When we walked into this emergency room. The first thing I noticed was how dirty the waiting area was.. my son checked in.. we set down for 10 minutes. I want to the restroom the restroom was dirty walk out of the restroom told my son we was leaving .because if this hospital look like this on the outside I could imagine what it look like in the back.. left there and went to HCA on Normandy. And the one on Normandy was very clean we was in and out of there in no time. Would not recommend the HCA on 103rd.
The staff here care a lot compared to other emergency rooms. I was very thankful I came here and was listened to Update : I really appreciate this hospital no matter how small or big the issue is they always show true care and concern. I appreciate the PA and the Nurses. Wonderful staff here. Highly recommend
My son was seen here this morning and when I tell you the provider Tom belcon. Was the best if I had a award I would give it to him love it here
The staff is amazing. Our nurse, Andrea was very patient and sweet and Dr. Smith listened to my concerns and did a great job diagnosing my child.
The staff were AMAZING my 2 year old son fell and had a big gash on his head they were really attentive to him and got to us quickly! The nurses went over and above even sang him songs about dinosaurs while he got his stitches! Hope we don't have to go back but in an emergency this will be my first stop
Front desk staff desperately need customer service training. For an ER they are entirely unhelpful in an actual emergency and very dismissive. I walked out and took my daughter to be seen at Baptist instead, which was 20 minutes away but they are far more reputable and empathetic. Worth the drive and thankfully the doctors found what was wrong.
I have always been skeptical of Orange Park Hospital on Kingsley Ave. From all the horror I heard from the past of people who have went to this hospital and actually it was the last hospital I would want to go to but, when I went to this Urgent Care on the Westside 103rd St. I was blown away with the excellent care they gave me several tests, drew blood, x-rays you name It to specifically and directly figure out what was going on with me....they spared no test and the staff from the insurance intake lady to the nurses and the medical personnel who came to get me for my tests and the two doctors I had were all "Fantastic". I had the best experience a person can have in a bad situation with me being ill. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I don't know about all locations but, I can speak for the one I went to on 103rd Street, they were "Outstanding". Thank all of you for taking good care of me.
My bf was having trouble breathing around 6am and I called for paramedics. They arrived quickly and took him to the ER. I arrived shortly and went to the front desk. There was no one there except the police officer and he helped me with my questions and was nice. He instructed me where to go and the staff seems friendly here. I thank them for being so swift and helping people in need. The place is clean here and I like that the building is smaller and more personalized. There was no one else in the waiting room.
Went with a severe toothach to get some help because my insurance isn't taken by many dentists office.. Dr. Walks in the room looks at me funny and ask what was wrong, I said I have a really bad toothache. She Automatically said I'm not giving you any narcotics and suggested I buy Tylenol, Before even examining me. like if I haven't tried it with everything over the counter nothing was working I continue to explain that I am not looking for narcotics just something stronger than Tylenol and ibuprofen I know there is other medication that does not fall under narcotics that could help me I explained to her.. she Didn't even prescribe me ibuprofen at less no Only a antibiotic... I honestly felt judged by how I looked or she just didn't like me to Automatically dismiss my pain.
Phenomenal People!!! Doctors, Nurses, Everyone was super fantastic. Very informative and compassionate.even the lady police officer was great. They deserve a trillion and one 1 out of a trillion. My wife Janice Morris was the patient. it was almost like a smidge of HEAVEN on earth. JESSE MORRIS. I love that place
